Sachi has a bunch of new skins and make ups ou at Adam ‘n Eve… New make ups for Mei Li, a new Drow skin and new make ups for one of my favorite Adam ‘n Eve skins: Amanda. Is that red lipstick not adorable? So sunny and lush!!
The bodywork is, as you may expect, fabulous at Adam ‘n Eve and you should really try a demo if you like good skins, these will change a lot according to the shape they work with. You might be surprised!!

Belonging to the same part of the world, I appreciate Zaara’s work immensely. After having asked her repeatedly to do more for men, I was very excited when I got to know about her new release for men (it is Unisex technically :P), namely the Adyan Kurta, it comes in 9 colors, fits great, the sculpted parts are easy to adjust, they blend nicely with the clothing layer and to top it all the design resembles some of the kurtas I have in real life!
I hope you all like it and I hope Zaara keeps making more for men!

Today’s look is a quicky, thrown together after a quick visit to Emery last night before I went to bed. I have a love/hate affair with Emery. Usually stuff is too much just slapped photos on a template, the kind of sourcing I don’ t care for -at all- but every time i visit their shop is see one or 2 things that I just want to have. Like this ripped shirt and the flower leggings.. I’m wearing it here with 5th & Oxford’s Rebel Rebel jeans skirt and J’s black boots. The Soho necklace is from alaMood, and the cord bracelet is from Illusions.
I’m wearing Isis, the upcoming release from Dutch Touch and truth’s Giada in champagne.

Lola, the upcoming skin from Lelutka is definitely one of my favorite skins ever. It has taken a while before the brand grabbed me, but with Ife, I became a real fan, and Lola… oh dear, Lola is just a stunning skin!
The body has been reworked, the annoying little flaw on the nose has been corrected, and with the introduction of SL2.0 and the tattoo layer, there are more make up options than ever. Every eye make up can now be combined with 11 lipstick tattoos. It’s a real incentive to try the 2.0 viewer! (Not that I wasn’t a fan of that already, it just runs smoother for me than the first generation viewers)
Anyway, I think it’s time for picture overload after the cut. Lola will be released in 5 skin tones and every skin tone has different make ups, so I’m just going to show them all.

Today’s look is a white and lilac ensemble… but Annyka’s Soft Lavender Day windlight setting gives everything the loveliest lilac shade, which in this case looks pretty good. Normally for the blog I prefer to go with the neutral settings of Caliah Lyon, but, oh well, as long as you realise that the colours of the items will look different in world than what you see here, it’s fine.
Starting with Zaara’s new Aydan Kurta tunic in white. This tunic is unisex, with smaller attachments for the ladies, and bigger ones for the lads. Lelutka’s lavender Olimpia pants look pretty much the same in a normal light setting, but that is because I picked the lavender ones. Back to Zaara for the scarf and the necklace. The lilac Tanya Dupatta scarf with tassles and the silver/amethyst Vanisri wrapped necklace.
The hat is from Cachet, a former brand of Lelutka, and the Butterfly glasses with amethyst spray are from GOS. The lilac Baby T shoes are from Pixel Mode.
I’m wearing Lola, the upcoming skin from Lelutka (release date Wednesday May 12, 2010) in light make up 4, with lilac lipstick tattoo (sl2.0 only)

Today’s look is inspired by the beautiful music of the Gotan Project. Traditional tango, but with a modern beat to it. Very catchy, I can listen to it for hours.
I am wearing the black Romani dress from Azul, which is a perfect little number for any tanguera, and the floral attachment is from Donna Flora’s Diletta dress. The black lace border stockings are from Blowpop, and the long gloves, matching perfectly with the red from the flower are from 5th & Oxford. I’m also wearing Pixel Mode’s black Baby T shoes ( I should have fatpacked… over the weeks I have bought so many of them that the fat pack would have been cheaper anyway).
Isis is a skin which will be released sometime soon at Dutch Touch, doesn’t she have a sweet face, after the more edgy looks of Keira and Kiki? Michelle 2 in cranky brown from fri.day is today’s hair of choice and the corsage des fleurs rouges is from Tomoto.

Black has always been my favourite color, I don’t think you can go wrong with black, loved the Mandala Piercings on first sight, they are very nicely detailed and not very hard to adjust, its a very nice set, other than that, I have been a fan of Kalnins glasses since way back, but these shutters IMO are very, very cool and finally thanks to everyone for the very positive feedback on my face tattoo. It has been a really fun and busy week. Samara was visiting in RL and we’ve been out and about all week. I’m sorry to see her go again, but what a good time we’ve had! This lady has really become a wonderful friend over time and I’m glad she could arrange some time in Amsterdam!
TGIF? well, yeah, the downside of me running around all week between work and spending time with my friend is that by now, I am just, plain tired! In a good way, but nevertheless, I’m not up to doing anything but being awfully lazy today… and maybe blog some…
Riq Graves, the creator from REEK has made these slide sandals in a ton of colour combinations, and while in RL I’d rather not be found dead wearing stuff like this… it is so utterly symbolical for being lazy!!!!
The socks come with them. Either you opt for the socked prim feet options, or slide them on your naked pixel feet… they look dorky and trashy in a good way. I’m wearing them here with Aitui’s Her Boy Briefs in plain aqua and T-junction’s I’m a Fucking Princess t-shirt. Skin is Iman from KA designs, and my hair is from Truth… but I didn’t write down which one and now I don’t remember which one from the cazillion Truth hairs I put on for this pic……

SySy Chapman has created this lovely Lana dress as a SLDD exclusive for the month of May. Only available for SLDD members, and only throughout this month. SySy also made some pretty arm laces to go with this dress, but I have never been too fond of those, so I prefer wearing Lana like this, with SLink’s Michaela shoes in gold and Tomoto’s corsage dse fleurs noires in Truth’s Emme hair in espresso.
I’m currently infatuated with Ka Designs Iman skin, so that’s what I’m wearing here.

The other day there was (again) a discussion on plurk about system skirts. Either you love them or you hate them, apparently. Well, I love them… and to be honest, I think the haters haven’t yet tried a skirt from a designer who actually knows what he/she is doing with the skirt template. Yes, due to how the SL avi mesh is done, you get a big butt when you wear a system skirt, but…. hello… that’s what those shape sliders are for… set that butt on 0, make your hips a little less voluptuous and cut off a wee bit of those saddle bags, and voilà, there you go. Anyway, I’m wearing Ingenue’s Memo skirt in Carribean here and the Paris Blouse is from LG Femme.
I’m going to dedicate a whole blog post to SLink’s amazing new Michaela shoes on of these days, but for now, let me suffice to say they are currently the best deal as far as scripted prim feet shoes go. I’m wearing the teal Michaela’s today. The Moon River jewelry is from Magic Nook.
Tiny Bird has just released new hair, and after the survey Autumn to ask feed back about the fitting of Tiny Bird hair, this is such an easy fit for me! Thanks, Aut!!! I’m wearing Magic Trick in warm black today. My skin is KA Designs latest release Iman in tan (make up 1)

Fade Lei @ Ugly Duck has a new skin out, Lily, and while it’s not my every day face, I love the carefully drawn features, which give me something diaphanous and fragile. I’m wearing it today with fri.day’s Mandy in jaded blond. Although the skin has quite dark brows, it doesn;t look bad at all with this shade of blond.
Niniko’s low rise jeans with prim belt is one of those must have basics. It’s in my current “quick”outfit… to put on in otherwise embarrassing situations, like a crash and relog on Ahern. Whippet & Buck’s Flutter tank in Akaroa is another one of my current favorites and fri.day’s Tourist jacket in army has been lurking in my inventory for quite some time, but I have never worn it til now.
Those Shoes are from Smersh, and the simple silver necklace is unreleased, it’s something Jori from alaMood has been fiddling with.

Oh well… I blogged my new release, so it’s only fair that I give the same attention to Hunain’s newest tattoo, Mahuika. After all, we share this place now, right? 🙂
Mahuika is the goddess of fire of the Maori, although in some regions Mahuika is also referred to as a male deity. So when Hunain asked me if I knew a name for this full torso tattoo with flames and fire symbols on it, I wanted a name that would do it justice, but would also be good for both men and women… and see, I found Mahuika.
This tattoo comes in color and in black and also in a colored and black faded version. It’s out now, at HUZ Tattoos.
As for the photo… hmmm… I got a bit carried away, hope you like it

They are inspired by a magazine spread with über model Alek Wek (that woman has some mighty fine legs!) and I have adjusted them some, where necessary, to avoid huge distortions of the avatar mesh, so that you won’t have to photoshop the crap out of it before it looks acceptable.

Black is the new black.. especially when it’s denim. Always good for cool and/or stylish looks. Zaara’s classic jeans are currently among my faves. I’m wearing the charcoal ones here, and Aoharu’s black front knot shirt to go with it. Under that I’m wearing Boom’s sheer powder Her Pleasure bandeau top. I could have done without it, but, well… what you don’t show, is often more alluring than what is blatantly out there. The tattoo is not for sale, Hunain made it. I like text tattoos and wouldnt mind seeing more of them. My sneakers are from 2real. I told you the other day that Mandala has new stuff out, this is their Hannya necklace. The ‘Pink Eel sunglasses are from Shade Throne.
