A bit safari inspired today, I don’t know, maybe because finally the sun is shining here again (and my garden is a mess, worse than a jungle) .
I’m wearing the white Asian shirt from Arai, with the fatigue camo Safari shorts from Casa del Shai. In my Hoorenbeek Lucille boots (coffee) I’m wearing the off white gartered overkneee socks from League.
The Ukuni bracelet and Kizazi necklace are both from Uzuri and the Half Shutter sunglasses from Kalnins, I have stolen from Hunain’s inventory (I think he makes love to these glasses when no one is around, but I kinda have to agree with him, they are among the best glasses on the grid)
Truth’s Sylvia hair from this week’s release is an absolute hit and my skin is a work in progress at PXL Creations. Hart Larsson is still taking make up suggestions.

I have always been very particular about how I look, specially my skin, I almost never change skins, none is really good enough for me 😛 In my almost 2 years on SL I have changed skins only two times, that would make an average of one skin per year! Nevertheless, once I saw the Lavie – Mark Skin, it made me restless! To change or not to change? Finally I did, and I must say it rose above my expectations, the right shading on the right places! Great texture, very nice outlines and it fit quite perfectly on my shape. Two thumbs up! Well this is the new me, and here is what I have on:

It must have been around last summer that Stephanie Misfit was teasing all of her plurk buddies with some images of a skin she was working on, and then… it took until today for Claire to hit the store! Out today at La Sylphide, Claire, a lovely, soft looking skin with luscious, shiny lips and some beautiful eye make ups. I admire Steph for making some of the most elegant faces around. It’s a full figured Monday 😀 I’m wearing Maitreya’s boyfriend jeans and Nyte ‘n Day’s blue transpose blouse under Nyte ‘n Day’s white Transpose vest/ Earrings and Necklace Aemilia in indigo are from Whippet & Buck. The cobalt lucid belt is from fri.day and the blue 8 holes are from GOS.
I have modified my Julie shape to make her even a bit fuller an did some small tweaking to fit Laqroki’s Pearl (fair, make up 07) and I’ve picked Truth’s Riley in champagne to complete today’s look.

mmm… this week has been amazing for poor little skinwhoreish me 🙂 with releases like Isis and Lola, Taylor and just yesterday Julie, I am just a happy girl. A couple of days ago I have released at /GEEZ/ 3 new shapes for the ladies, and today I have added 2 more shapes. It’s good to be back at making shapes again.
Sayuri has been a work in progress for a bit. Made for Tuli’s latest release I wanted her to be cute and ultrafeminine. The result is a petite Asian shape, with almond eyes and a heartshaped, kissable mouth
The second shape I have made for Julie, the newest red head from Laqroki. I wanted a more voluptuous and creamy looking shape for this lady, a bit à la Christina Hendricks (without actually looking like her, but you know… some meat on the bones!)

Autumn Hykova from Tiny Bird has made some adorable summer dresses! I couldn’t pick a colour, so I’ve been playing Barbie all night switching, to finally settle for the bright pink St. Augustine dress. I thought it would be really cute with the flower cardigan from Coco.
Such a summer combination doesn’t need a lot more, so I just slipped into fri.day’s berry basic flats and put on my teal Onyxia sunglasses from Artilleri and I’m all ready to go!
I’m wearing Tres Blah’s Hiccup skin (Lavender Lippie, which was a stumblebum special) and Tiny Bird’s Greetings from Italy hair in warm black.

Yesterdays was about the jammies, today is about the amazing new Vagabond pants which Toast Bard from Fashionably Dead released earlier today. At first I thought, wow… L$ 250? But then I saw that is for 4 pairs in black, white, grey and brown so that is really an amazing price!
A little after I picked up the trousers, I was talking to Dakota Buck, from Whippet & Buck, how Toast inspires her to create new things and that she wished she could achieve the level of wearability (which does exist in SL, odd as it may seem) that Toast has. But I think that both Dakota and Twiggy are doing a really fine job as far as wearability and creativity goes with their collection, so I’m gladly combining Toasts pants with Whippet & Buck’s turquoise Cole Boatneck top (which was a stumblebum brigade exclusive) as well as their Little Bit of Pretty necklace. Before we parted, Kota passed me the matching bracelet she’s working on and supposedly will be released some time soon.
I like it when Aranel Ah from BOOM ventures in prim stuff. This take it easy tote is very much like the bags I use in RL (and then I curse because I can’t find my keys in the mess) . Love it though!
Lat but not least, the teal Action’s womens Ballet pumpz are elegant because understated with this outfit. There are too little shoes in SL with a lower heel.
I’m still wearing League’s Taylor skin today, and My Protector in warm black from Tiny Bird (50 L$ friday item!!!)

It’s a pajama day, I think… with these totally comfy checkered lounge pants from Zoobong. I was wearing Blowpop’s brown Yvette bra and Dutch Touch’s blue tank top, but I got a bit chilly, so I added League’s ecru cropped Grandad vest. I think it looks really comfy now. Surf Couture’s freedom flops in navy on my feet, Earthstones Kolo necklace as a sole accessory and I’m all ready to curl up my sofa and read a god book. Any suggestions?

And I’m again wearing one of Zaara’s Aydan Kurta tunics, the fuchsia this time. And today I’m wearing Snatch’s wine Nightmare skirt with it, for a more dramatic effect. Not visible, but a nice match are Maitreya’s cherry Shanti shoes, which comes with a handy notecard with presets for may popular skin tones. Among those also for Dutch Touch’s cream tone, which I am wearing today for the Isis skin. Make up is Liner Red, which I believe is either free or discounted for group members as we speak. The hair from Miel was ab-day freebie at The Deck, and was sent earlier today to the Miel group because lots of people could not make it into the deck on time.

Mmmmm…. more gorgeous skins over at Dutch Touch!! I have shown Isis a couple of times as a preview over the past week, but now she’s out and Iki went loose again on some gorgeous make ups! What I admire most about Dutch Touch skins is Iki’s ability to create crisp textures with a lot if definition in both face and body, without ever looking hard. There isn’t a harsh shading to be found in any of her skins. And, like Gogo states in her blog post about Isis, Iki makes some of the nicest cleavages!
Above you see the “Fun”set in cocoa. Below the “Cute” set in cream and the “Smokey” set in olive.
