My intermezzo with Mimikri’s new Blossom dress, yesterday, diverted my attention for a bit from the other piece from Mimikri that I was really  planning an outfit with. This Meow snow cardigan is extremely feminine, with a generous cleavage and the frilly accent on the hips, for that hourglass figure. I’m wearing it with Michami’s stella pants and Tuli’s pink sequin tank and opted for Tesla’s Kensington boots in violet to match the tank top. The black bead necklace is from Paper Couture.

I’ve picked PXL Creation’s Grace for the dark eyes and neutral lips, and I’m wearing Exile’s Rayne in Hazlenut, which is a really sassy, sharp cut bob.

Cocoro Lemon from Coco rules… Oh yes she does… Months ago I fell in love with her broad cloth blouses, then she made the best blazer on the grid, and now I found this tulip hem dress that just oozes class and had my name written all over it. I’m wearing this dress as is, because frankly, sometimes a design is just so good that you don’t want to cut it up in pieces for an outfit, nor add other things because it would not make it any better. So other than this lovely dress, I’m only wearing Blaze’s black classic pumps, which are about the simplest around, and available in many colours for a really affordable price, and Caroline Apollo’s black broken long strand of pearls.

I’m also wearing Free Speerit newest skin Kimberly, and ETD’s Felicity in Chocolate.

This Leona dress from LeLutka made me totally think of the wedding photos of my parents. The ladies in sleek cloque or dupion dresses, wearing satin gloves like these pink ones from Fleur, matching  with their shoes (Blaze in this instance) I’ve chosen pearls to wear with this dress and they all come from Caroline Apollo, so even when they are not from the same set, they do match with eachother. I have slightly tinted the white Greta glasses, indeed, to match the gloves and the shoes, and picked Cupcakes’ Lovespell Predy in honey because of the soft pink lips and Lamb’s BangBang in powder to complete the retro style.

La Casa del Shai’s Reluctant Seductress dress  has some of the prettiest lace texures I have seen in SL. So when I was contemplating what to wear with Schadenfreude’s Crimson Geraldine Corset dress (love the laced up back!!!), I figured this might just be a good match. And I do like how it turned out. The sculpted nekcline of the top softens the rather in your face sexiness of the underbust corset and the smashing red of the dress. I’m wearing Artilleri’s Paula glasses and Fuel’s See Through Hurt necklace and fyi, I’m wearing stockings from Insolence with the most luxurious shine to it, and Maitreya’s black Verve pumps. I know you can’t see them on this pic, but oh well, for completeness sake, I decided to write it down nevertheless.

I really couldn’t care less about the next grid wide hunt, but small hunts from creators that I know and like, that’s a different story. So I spent some time at Cupcakes! today, and found all but one of the 20 eggs that Mimi and Rosemary have set out in their shop. There are skins and clothes, and I’m wearing their Easter gift version of their latest Seduction line. While there, I eyed this cute striped shirt and couldn’t resist it. I’m wearing it with Aoharu’s yellowgreen capris and ETD’s black peep slingbacks. I’be accesorised with some black beads, the onyx Grazia necklace from Lucas Lameth and the triple black pearl bracelet from Armidi’s Gisaci.
Last but not least, I’m wearing the Julianne hair from Slink in medium brown, which is a colour that I really, really like.

How does one combine a sunny day and a kick ass mood? That’s Decoy’s Tangerine Margeaux jacket, with the Opium army camo pants from the Opium avatar at The Abyss. The plain white belt is from Kari and the disc jewelry is from Persona.

I’m wearing Aitui’s cherry blossom tattoo, Adam ‘n Eve’s Desire (t2) and Exile’s twilight Kaori.

Not shown, but worn, Armidi’s orange Dahlia pumps, although I have been considering wearing the grunge boots from the Opium avatar, for more kick ass effect… but I suppose sunny day won this time.

Sometimes a girl just needs colour… like today… So I picked Bijou’s Cake green turtleneck top, and Bijou’s Secret pink cropped jacket. My torn jeans skirt is from the Yelena outfit from Last Call and is no longer available. Slink’s green glamour plateaus are a great match with the turtleneck, and with Alicia Chenaux how to tint your prim feet tutorial on What The Fug, you really have NO excuse anymore to wear bad tinted prim feet… NO excuse, you hear? <3. Speaking of <3, the long drop heart necklace is from Cailyn MIller.

When back in December Lo Jacobs released her Lucy dresses, I got my hands on a fatpack of this frilly, girly dress and I am wearing it really often, although hardly ever as is. This time I’m wearing it with the mossy green cardigan from Rapshodie and the military green suspender knee socks from Pig which I picked up at the square in Tableau. I picked the brown Saturday flats from Shiny Things to go with it. Recently I was going through my Lassitude and Ennui folder and the beauty of the Gwanwyn set struck me all over again, so that’s today’s accesoire pick.

I’m wearing the natural Onyx skin from Dutch Touch in spring skin tone, and Maitreya’s Faye in Hazel.

I realise I have Gritty Kitty’s Hoke-Troika hair on again. I just think it’s really cute and sassy and I didn’t bother changing skins after my review of Mai skins’ Mia. Now that I take a second look at this image, It’s a pretty thrown together look alltogether, but I still think it works pretty well. There certainly is no philosophy behind this look :-D. I was scrolling through my inventory and digged up these checkered sailor pants from Boing Fromage, next I picked Michami’s black Stella jacket, which never lets me down, speaking of basics….. the green shirt is the Cole boat neck top from W&B (not available yet) and the scarf is Ce Cubic Effect. I have been trying out several shoes, flats, pumps, ankleboots even, before I decided it was time to pay UBU a visit and get the new drunks and added some green to them to make them match the rest.

It’s a lovely Sunday and I’m in a happy mood. So I picked Ibizarre’s aqua Chantilly top and paired it with a total oldie from my inventory, Amby denim, from Naughty Designs. Yep.. I still have that stuff around… Siddean Munro from SLink! totally nailed the prim feet again in these flat, white Summer sandals. I just can’t stress enough how easy they are to tint, and only cost a fraction of what some other brands will charge for prim feet shoes. Lucas Lameth’s Kahto set is a simple but elegant set of jewelry with an ethnic touch, which I really like with this look.
