Isn’t this just the most adorable cuteness? In the middle you see Santa Lucia, the candles are a loose attachment, so you can jst wear the hair with the holly wreath if you want to. To the sides the collab between Autum Hykova for Tiny Bird and Riq Graves from Reek, the Merritt’s Hatt for boys to the left, and for girls to the right, with a ton of options to color the hat.

Milano Holidays 2009

Milano Holidays 2009 is a photographic exhibition featuring 50 original pictures (and two movies) by Shiryu Musashi portraying the beautiful city of Milan during this holiday season.  You will see how the capital city of Italian fashion (and according to many, of worldwide fashion) dresses up for the holiday seasons, in a rainbow of merry lights merging with historical monuments and kisses under the mistletoe.

You can experience the exhibition on the 4th floor of the Musashi-Do Flagship Store.

Each day from december the 12th to December the 25th, you will be able to pick up for free an elegantly framed picture between the beautiful ones ones shown at the exhibition. The picture will vary day by day, so make sure you come every day to own the full series of 14!

During the whole event you will ble able to purchase a scripted picture frame that includes the 10 best pictures (those 10 will NOT be available between the free ones above) of the exhibition. The frame itself changes 15 colors to fit your mood and any kind of furniture you might have in your SL hourse.
The Milano Holidays 2009 Picture Collection Frame costs L$ 250 and is no copy/modify/TRANSFER.
100% of the income from the sale of the Milano Holidays 2009 Picture Collection Frame will be donated to the Toys for Tots charity. Of course if you’d like to donate more than the price of one, you’re encouraged to purchase as many as you can! The frame is transferable and it’s the perfect holiday gift for your friends and loved ones.
Remember that Christmas is the perfect time for sharing and giving!
IMPORTANT: Full data and receipt of the donation will be disclosed on the Musashi-Do Blog on January the 7th, 2009.

Milano Holidays 2009 is just the first event of two. On December the 20th, 2009, a second, bigger exhibition will open: “World Holidays 2009”!

While Milano Holidays focuses on Milan, World Holidays 2009 will feature pictures from all over the world, pictures that you all can take and show, while having a chance to fin fabulous prizes from the sponsors, Musashi-Do and SySy’s.

Here’s how to participate:

1: Search for the most beautiful locations that show holidays decorations in your own home city and take pictures of them. As many as possible (The resolution of the pictures needs to be at least 512 x 512 pixels),

2: Send your pictures to the e-mail adress milanoholidays2009@gmail.com In the text of the mail include the following form, filled with your data (Your real life name is indispensible for legal reasons but it will  NOT be shared with anyone or displayed anywhere, unless you specifically ask us to):

KA Designs Bardot skins: Yoko

OK…. so it’s not like I’ve been a total blog slacker and only been busy terraforming and landscaping. I did actually manage to shoot a couple of pics from new skins on the market, like Kira Ahn’s Yoko skins. They have been out for a week or so now, and honestly, I’d expect to see them all over the various feeds, because they really are so delicate and pretty!

Like you have come to expect from KA Designs skins, they come in 3 different brow colours and dito hair base. definitely worth a demo (and a little tweak on your shape to bring out all the beauty, should that be required)

Launa Fauna is rebranding. Chai will be transformed in L.Fauna, and with the rebranding, Launa is also releasing a new skin. I’m wearing the first one of what will hopefully be a long successful story of handdrawn goodness in a virtual world where ever increasing photorealism seems to have become the norm. It’s refreshing really: the softness, the sweet face even the lack of hyper realistic body details. I love this skin.

I’m not going to talk yet again about the flawless bodies, and all the options these skins come with, but I’ll limit myself to just show you the various make ups. I like the paler skintones best for Tuli’s skin, so I’ve picked the pale ones for this post, with the light brows.

From left to right Blinky, with tiny glowy lights in a chignon, Marry Xmas, with a lovely dark red hairband and bow and Snowqueen, with a crown which emits a snowflake every now ant then (no worries… you won’t be carrying your own personal blizzard).
