They have hit the store only hours ago! These boots are beautifully sculpted and have a really soft leather texture, some of the colours come in a subtle mother of pearl effect. Keep your eyes on Siddean’s blog, or better yet, enter her in world update group, because wearing the group tag while shopping at SLink, will give you an automatic 10% discount.

I know I’ve blogged the new dresses from Skin Flicks only days ago, but damn that Mavis MGettigan for having so much cute stuff which I totally love! This Casy Cascade sweater for instance… look at how she has drawn those folds, it really rocks, and the collar of the blouse that goes with it is so pretty. She made a combined attachment of the collars of both blouse and sweater (as well as single collar options) so that it will only use one attachment point. I like it when a designer puts that thought into her work. The Casy trousers are from Skin Flicks as well. It’s a combination of a skirt and a set of trousers. The skirt looks lovely on the vendor, but I had a hard time fitting it this time around. I’m wearing it all with Bax Coen’s brown Prestige boots, Fishy Strawberry’s brown Geisha leather belt and alaMood’s gold Athshe necklace. I just realised something about the belt, which, unconciously, I have noticed before in some Fishy Strawberry designs… it’s very photo compared to some of their other designs and that makes it sometimes hard to combine the items for me.
Like yesterday, I’ve stuck to KA Designs’ Sally skin, because it’s just lovely, and I’m wearing Truth’s Ann in the new champagne blond.

It’s been a rainy day today, and since I have the awesome paraplu pose set from Torrid, I decided to play some with it. My outfit today is mostly coming from the Artilleri sim. I’m wearing Artilleri’s Marius knit sweater, and Surf Couture’s burgundy Yoga pants. The scarf if from creamshop. This look totally calls for a pair of wellies or other snug boots (fyi, I’m wearing Truth’s Huntress boots with it)

I’m wearing it with the dark denim tailored jacket from Coco Designs (tinted darker), the beautiful stockings of the Barbara lingerie set from Insolence and the black Verve pumps, my fave Maitreya pumps ever.

Today’s look is inspired by this sweater shrug from Stellar. I can’t believe in 3 years in SL that I have never before been to Lexi Morgan’s shop, but it’s true. Whereas a lot of things in her shop are a little too revealing for me, it’s all really well made, and I totally appreciate that. I’m wearing the shrug with Madsy’s tiered grey cami, and Whippet & Buck’s Georgie tapered trousers in black. The flats are from fri.day.

Roslin Petion made some really nice tees for 50 L$ Friday, and they inspired me to this look. I’m wearing the 5th & Oxford Rock Royalty shirt with Dutch Touch’s short jeans skirt over Zaara’s Nishar leggings Fuchsia (underwear layer) and Cerulean (socks layer) and the black fringe boots from KAO (I know they do not look really black, but that’s the in world lighting… for the rock effect). The cuff is from the Misti line at Insolence.

Until last week, I was oblivious of the fact that Kesseret Steeplechase, aside from jewelry, also has a growing collection of clothing under the brand name Hilarious. This Luna Jasper top it one of my favourite things from her store. I’m wearing it with the limited edition brown Tuxedo pants from Elymode, and Bax’s Prestige Boots. The Karmuka necklace and Ritu bracelet are from Zaara (bracelet is a Le.Look exclusive).

I was over at Skin Flicks earlier, and noticed these 2 new dresses. Since I couldn’t decide which one I like best, I decided to make it easy on myself and just bring both of them home. They come in a numer of colours and colour combinations, but I’m such a sucker for powder colours that I bought both dresses in beige, but as you can see, they are both quite different.
In the front is Liza, with a lovely neckline hem and really well done cap sleeves. and in the back is Samantha, which I just find very elegant with the narrow but deep v-neck. Both dresses have a very flattering high waist line and flowing skirt and it clearly shows how skilful Mavis McGettigan is at creating the illusion of a real fabric.

At the sale at Nyte ‘n Day I impulsed on this Raiment pink camo skirt… and then had no idea what to do with it. It’s cute and well made… but not something I’d normally wear so I just started to experiment some, and eventually, this outfit was the outcome.
I’m wearing the Raiment pink camo skirt with Boom’s pink Park Life hoodie over Whippet & Buck’s tobacco Hykova buttoned top. On the jacket layer I’m wearing Coco Designs brown sheared mink shrug (tinted). Legwarmers are from Dutch Touch (wrinkled, no. 9) and the chocolate Kensington boots are Tesla’s.

Nothing new for today’s look, but it’s so comfortable again. I really love clothing like this, it’s warm and snug and I think it looks good as well. Fishy Strawberry’s beige cuddle maxipull teams up with DP yum yum’s brown light pleated skirt and Whippet & Buck’s Hykova buttoned tank in tobacco. The no. 1 leg warmers are from Dutch Touch and the moccasins are from Gisaci/Armidi. The wide brown belt is from Coco Designs. The cord necklace is from Illusions.

I’ve blogged Launa Fauna’s Chai Nova skins before, they are lovely skins with great bodies in a smashing 9 skin tones. For Vanity Universe’s skin fair she has released her newest make ups Chairis. This line is all about the lips, strong, glossy colours, with relatively demure eye make ups. Chai Nova skins come in a normal and a freckled version, there is a cleavage enhancer on the underwear layer available, for those who want the push up effect. The wonderful think about Launa’s skins is that the lips are tintable. You can adjust and mix within the possibilities to personalise your lipstick, or to match it with that special outfit.

One of the skins I’ve picked up at Vanity Universe’s skin fair is the new Aden. This is the 5th generation of Aden’s skin and the 2nd which I really like. I’ve chosen the tan pack, because I have a lot of paler skins lately, and oh well.. they just looked yummy.
This skin has some things I’m absolutely in love with. I love the mouth, and the shading of the breast muscle. Yup… I do… I’m weird like that. But whereas the overall body work looks very pleasant, upon close up there are a few issues. There are some visible seams and the private bits are placed somewhat uhm… high between the legs. This skin will not ever be successful as a hand model, because of the nails. On the other hand (no pun intended), I really like the clavicles and the bum is lovely and it’s just a really pretty face!!
Aden’s Gen 5 comes in 4 skin tones and 5 make ups each, and a normal, cleavage and cleavage + option. They retail for 950 L$ for a single skin. Definitely worth a demo.

PS: I’m amazed at how well the lag is handled at the skin fair ground. I was there just now, there were 40+ avatars in the sim, I had my drawdistance set to the max, and everything rezzed fast and i was willing to move freely!! Kudo’s to Nadja and her team for this!!
