Autumn Hykova from Tiny Bird has made some adorable summer dresses! I couldn’t pick a colour, so I’ve been playing Barbie all night switching, to finally settle for the bright pink St. Augustine dress. I thought it would be really cute with the flower cardigan from Coco.

Such a summer combination doesn’t need a lot more, so I just slipped into fri.day’s berry basic flats and put on my teal Onyxia sunglasses from Artilleri and I’m all ready to go!

I’m wearing Tres Blah’s Hiccup skin (Lavender Lippie, which was a stumblebum special) and Tiny Bird’s Greetings from Italy hair in warm black.

Yesterdays was about the jammies, today is about the amazing new Vagabond pants which Toast Bard from Fashionably Dead released earlier today. At first I thought, wow… L$ 250? But then I saw that is for 4 pairs in black, white, grey and brown so that is really an amazing price!

A little after I picked up the trousers, I was talking to Dakota Buck, from Whippet & Buck, how Toast inspires her to create new things and that she wished she could achieve the level of wearability (which does exist in SL, odd as it may seem) that Toast has. But I think that both Dakota and Twiggy are doing a really fine job as far as wearability and creativity goes with their collection, so I’m gladly combining Toasts pants with Whippet & Buck’s turquoise Cole Boatneck top (which was a stumblebum brigade exclusive) as well as their Little Bit of Pretty necklace. Before we parted, Kota passed me the matching bracelet she’s working on and supposedly will be released some time soon.

I like it when Aranel Ah from BOOM ventures in prim stuff. This take it easy tote is very much like the bags I use in RL (and then I curse because I can’t find my keys in the mess) . Love it though!
Lat but not least, the teal Action’s womens Ballet pumpz are elegant because understated with this outfit. There are too little shoes in SL with a lower heel.

I’m still wearing League’s Taylor skin today, and My Protector in warm black from Tiny Bird (50 L$ friday item!!!)

It’s a pajama day, I think… with these totally comfy checkered lounge pants from Zoobong. I was wearing Blowpop’s brown Yvette bra and Dutch Touch’s blue tank top, but I got a bit chilly, so I added League’s ecru cropped Grandad vest. I think it looks really comfy now. Surf Couture’s freedom flops in navy on my feet, Earthstones Kolo necklace as a sole accessory and I’m all ready to curl up my sofa and read a god book. Any suggestions?

I love League’s new skin Taylor and I’m wearing it in medium, naturel and Truth’s latest release Paula is SO me!! I’m wearing it in toffee *noms*

And I’m again wearing one of Zaara’s Aydan Kurta tunics, the fuchsia this time. And today I’m wearing Snatch’s wine Nightmare skirt with it, for a more dramatic effect. Not visible, but a nice match are Maitreya’s cherry Shanti shoes, which comes with a handy notecard with presets for may popular skin tones. Among those also for Dutch Touch’s cream tone, which I am wearing today for the Isis skin. Make up is Liner Red, which I believe is either free or discounted for group members as we speak. The hair from Miel was ab-day freebie at The Deck, and  was sent earlier today to the Miel group because lots of  people could not make it into the deck on time.
The Siren necklace is from Sigma.

Today’s look is a quicky, thrown together after a quick visit to Emery last night before I went to bed. I have a love/hate affair with Emery. Usually stuff is too much just slapped photos on a template, the kind of sourcing I don’ t care for -at all- but every time i visit their shop is see one or 2 things that I just want to have. Like this ripped shirt and the flower leggings.. I’m wearing it here with 5th & Oxford’s Rebel Rebel jeans skirt and J’s black boots. The Soho necklace is from alaMood, and the cord bracelet is from Illusions.

I’m wearing Isis, the upcoming release from Dutch Touch and truth’s Giada in champagne.

Today’s look is a white and lilac ensemble… but Annyka’s Soft Lavender Day windlight setting gives everything the loveliest lilac shade, which in this case looks pretty good. Normally for the blog I prefer to go with the neutral settings of Caliah Lyon, but, oh well, as long as you realise that the colours of the items will look different in world than what you see here, it’s fine.

Starting with Zaara’s new Aydan Kurta tunic in white. This tunic is unisex, with smaller attachments for the ladies, and bigger ones for the lads. Lelutka’s lavender Olimpia pants look pretty much the same in a normal light setting, but that is because I picked the lavender ones. Back to Zaara for the scarf and the necklace. The lilac Tanya Dupatta scarf with tassles and the silver/amethyst Vanisri wrapped necklace.

The hat is from Cachet, a former brand of Lelutka, and the Butterfly glasses with amethyst spray are from GOS. The lilac Baby T shoes are from Pixel Mode.

I’m wearing Lola, the upcoming skin from Lelutka (release date Wednesday May 12, 2010) in light make up 4, with lilac lipstick tattoo (sl2.0 only)

Today’s look is inspired by the beautiful music of the Gotan Project. Traditional tango, but with a modern beat to it. Very catchy, I can listen to it for hours.

I am wearing the black Romani dress from Azul, which is a perfect little number for any tanguera, and the floral attachment is from Donna Flora’s Diletta dress. The black lace border stockings are from Blowpop, and the long gloves, matching perfectly with the red from the flower are from 5th & Oxford. I’m also wearing Pixel Mode’s black Baby T shoes ( I should have fatpacked… over the weeks I have bought so many of them that the fat pack would have been cheaper anyway).

Isis is a skin which will be released sometime soon at Dutch Touch, doesn’t she have a sweet face, after the more edgy looks of Keira and Kiki? Michelle 2 in cranky brown from fri.day is today’s hair of choice and the corsage des fleurs rouges is from Tomoto.

The other day there was (again) a discussion on plurk about system skirts. Either you love them or you hate them, apparently. Well, I love them… and to be honest, I think the haters haven’t yet tried a skirt from a designer who actually knows what he/she is doing with the skirt template. Yes, due to how the SL avi mesh is done, you get a big butt when you wear a system skirt, but…. hello… that’s what those shape sliders are for… set that butt on 0, make your hips a little less voluptuous and cut off a wee bit of those saddle bags, and voilà, there you go. Anyway, I’m wearing Ingenue’s Memo skirt in Carribean here and the Paris Blouse is from LG Femme.

I’m going to dedicate a whole blog post to SLink’s amazing new Michaela shoes on of these days, but for now, let me suffice to say they are currently the best deal as far as scripted prim feet shoes go. I’m wearing the teal Michaela’s today. The Moon River jewelry is from Magic Nook.

Tiny Bird has just released new hair, and after the survey Autumn to ask feed back about the fitting of Tiny Bird hair, this is such an easy fit for me! Thanks, Aut!!! I’m wearing Magic Trick in warm black today. My skin is KA Designs latest release Iman in tan (make up 1)

Fade Lei @ Ugly Duck has a new skin out, Lily, and while it’s not my every day face, I love the carefully drawn features, which give me something diaphanous and fragile. I’m wearing it today with fri.day’s Mandy in jaded blond. Although the skin has quite dark brows, it doesn;t look bad at all with this shade of blond.

Niniko’s low rise jeans with prim belt is one of those must have basics. It’s in my current “quick”outfit… to put on in otherwise embarrassing situations, like a crash and relog on Ahern. Whippet & Buck’s Flutter tank in Akaroa is another one of my current favorites and fri.day’s Tourist jacket in army has been lurking in my inventory for quite some time, but I have never worn it til now.

Those Shoes are from Smersh, and the simple silver necklace is unreleased, it’s something Jori from alaMood has been fiddling with.

Black is the new black.. especially when it’s denim. Always good for cool and/or stylish looks. Zaara’s classic jeans are currently among my faves. I’m wearing the charcoal ones here, and Aoharu’s black front knot shirt to go with it. Under that I’m wearing Boom’s sheer powder Her Pleasure bandeau top. I could have done without it, but, well… what you don’t show, is often more alluring than what is blatantly out there. The tattoo is not for sale, Hunain made it. I like text tattoos and wouldnt mind seeing more of them. My sneakers are from 2real. I told you the other day that Mandala has new stuff out, this is their Hannya necklace. The ‘Pink Eel sunglasses are from Shade Throne.

Happy Queen’s day! My fellow Dutch are going a little orange crazy on this day, which is the celebration of the Queen’s Birthday. I’m not likely to go into town today, but I figured I’d post this link to give you an idea what Queen’s Day in Amsterdam is like.

I’m wearing Nicky Ree’s Queen’s Day special Fiona in Orange and the oddly scripted but awesome looking Precious Queen crown, necklace and earrings from Alienbear. Odd because the crown comes with a built in heavy facelight, and the script is not really logical. Once you have figured how to turn it off it’s quite ok though, after all, with windlight who needs facelights anyway but to annoy your fellow residents.

I’m using Zaara’s lime Churidar (which came with the fuchsia Syona Kurta set) and matched it with Très Blah’s black scoop neck top for today’s look. The back of Maitreya’s Billow Boots matches perfectly with the black of the top. You’d be surprised how bad different shades of black can look together, but this is a good fit!

I’ve kept accesoires simple with Illusions’cord necklace and bracelet, and Artilleri’s Onyxia teal sunglasses. The bow belongs to the scoop neck top.

I’m wearing Tuli’s Sayuri tone 2 make up 1 (freckles) and Tukinowaguma’s Ellie hair in black and then tinted in some of the many options that pop up when you touch the hair. Lagtastic without a doubt, but cute.

A quick one today, because I have to hurry. I hate starting my days in a rush, but… oh well, I suppose sometimes it’s just that way.

I’m wearing Argrace’s new chiffon tunic (small flower), Ingenue’s Liasis shoes in late and Boom’s Chains of 925.

Today’s skin of choice is the beautiful red brow version of Dutch Touch’s Keira (caramel, dawn) and Truth’s copper Tesa hair is the finishing touch to this quite romantic look.

A special heads up for my eyes, because I rarely mention them. 99% of my time I find myself wearing these Glow eyes from PXL Creations in greygold. I used to be a hard core Miriel fan, but I love these just as much these days.

The simple gold bangles are an RFL easter hunt exclusive from alaMood.
