Some days I just feel like posting credits to a look and a link to my slurl page, other days I am more “talkative”. Today is such a day.

With the release of SecondLife beta viewer 2.1 it has become possible to wear multiple clothing layers (up to 5)and the blouse of the same kind. For instance, In this outfit, I am wearing 2 jacket layers. for the top, and the blouse. Now technically I still could have solved this by wearing the shorts on the underwear layer, the tank top on the shirt ánd pants layer and the blouse on the jacket layer, but hey, SL has this silly bug that leaves a gap between the shirt and the pants layer and I hate that, so this is a wonderful solution.

This means that you could also opt for a tattoo hair base and tattoo lashes, and still be able to wear your favorite tattoo beauty mark and lipstick… see the possibilities? Good development I’d say. Now of course there are lots of residents who couldn’t care less and have other wishes for their SL but hey… sometimes even I get lucky!

A couple of days ago, Valena Glushenko has opened her new shop ORTA. Glushenko, who once owned the accesoires brand Diamonde and later joined the creative forces of LeLutka is back with her own brand and I must say, the elegance and understated simple chic look of her designs are very appealing to me.

Though not as insanely hot and humid as during the weekend, summer in the lowlands is still more than present. And hence nothing better than something hot, to keep you cool, like this new Xotic dress from House of Hucci. The necklace, which is really pretty, is part of the dress and holds up the draped fabric on the stomach area. I am wearing the dress with Bax Coen’s brown prestige boots, and PXL Creations’ Candy skin in tan (out now) and Kin’s black Cricket hair.

Aaaaah… yes… today’s look is about old again, actually, it’s been some time that this skirt and blouse have not been available anymore. It is one of the first things I bought when I first started out in SL, it’s a 2006 item from Mischief, Jackie. Honestly, it still looks pretty!

Janie Marlowe, after having been around forever, with her brand Mischief is going to close her shop and will launch a complete new brand. So no drama, just, after so much time, Janie wants something new and fresh, and a new brand is the way. In the meantime there is still a sale going on on her current collection, so go get some of her lovely outfits before they will disappear forever. I’d like to thank Janie from here, for being such a constant fashion factor in my SL, and I’m looking forward to her new designs!

Like I said, Jackie was discontinued quite some time ago already, but the bag and belt from fri.day are, as well as the champagne Volume necklace from Atelier AM and Maitreya’s verve pumps.
I’m wearing League’s Taylor skin (medium, feline) and Truth’s Roxana in almond.

I was over at Barerose earlier and seriously… June Dion from BareRose is one of the all time most fabulous, consistent and creative content creators of SecondLife, who just is underexposed on the blogs. Maybe because she’s such a constant factor, that people tend to focus more on the novelties, but anyway, I got fascinated all over again with the incredible variety of fashion, fantasy, historical and just plain outrageous outfits, all under 200L$ for multiple colors.

Last year our resident vampire fashionisto, Winter Jefferson, started a BareRose appreciation week, which was a huge success. I wouldn’t go that far, but this week, I’d love to see a lot of you going crazy creative with BareRose outfits!

I have picked the Chimera Huntress outfit for this picture, combined with PXL Creations’s Efe skin and L.Fauna’s red Allure eyes.
