I don’t know if this is a first, but Thora Charron from LeLutka has made 3 sets of full prim lashes that look amazingly real. They are not really suitable for day to day wearing, as they are really quite primmy and adjustment of the lashes does require patience and some prim shifting skills, but oh boy… do they look good in close ups…..

Mavis McGettigan, creator of Skin Flicks, has recently been changing all perms on her clothing from no copy/no mod/trans to copy/mod/no trans and that makes me so happy. Whereas I think SkinFlicks clothes are done well enough to make it worth the while to tweak your shape a little to make the prim work fit, basically I just believe prim clothes parts should be modifiable to fit you, instead of you making yourself fit the prims. So kudos for Mavis!
That being said, I’m wearing SkinFlicks beige Jane pants and belt with Casa del Shai’s khaki safari jacket and Maitreya’s olive Verve pumps. I’ve accesorised this outfit with Lucas Lameth’s Kamoana shell bracelet and layered necklace and ETD’s black aviator glasses.
Blowpop’s Carmen skin in raw sienna (look 2) didn’t want to come off today, and it suits me fine, and I’m wearing Truth’s Polly in sand… probably the only sand this safari chick will be seeing when sipping her chardonnay, and listen to the stories of the wild animals outside of the resort.

The new tunic tops at Truth are so well made. I’m wearing the Nautical one today, with the attachment, but you can also wear the mesh only for a tucked in look. I really like the neckline of this top, square, not too revealing, clean, sporty. Last week I had a total shopping spree at Artilleri, and most of it is still in my “new purchases” folder, so they stil grab my attention frequently, like this red simplicity pencil skirt. Not shown, but really matching quite well with the sportive look, are the red striped sneakers, from Redgrave. My Aemilia necklace is from Whippet & Buck (to be released).
With all the new skins that have come out over the last few weeks, I’d almost forget about the first line of Blowpop that looks cute on my avie, Infinity. I’m wearing Carmen in raw sienna look 2 and I’m wearing Pumpkin hair in fudge, which is another new release at Truth.

Ok.. so I’m vain. When I found this dress at BareRose today, it hit me, right between the eyes… Must Have.. Now. I wanted it.. I needed it.. badl! Libido is black, leather, naughty. It comes in a modest version.. but I opted for the open shirt, and instead I have chosen this lovely red Applique bra from LoveLace to wear with it and to cover my breasts. With the red bra, Fleur’s scarlet leather patent belt seemed a goof choice to add some more colour, and the cherry gloves, also from Fleur are a natural finish of this look. I’m wearing SLink’s black Glamour plateaus and the sunglasses are actually part of Libido.

I’m not sure, but something tells me SL is not having its best day in history today. My skybox is a stylish grey… and so are my lashes and other prim attachments, and my hair is grey too… and consists out of unrezzed sculpties. So fashionable, really!,
Oh well.. this photo is the only one that I got right this morning, so I proudly present you , the look of April 3… I’m wearing the Toasted Plaid monochrome from Thimbles, available at the Toast Bard Fundraiser at Tableau, and Artilleri’s Nina High Waist pants. The red bangles are from +PLus and I love the flower in the new release from Truth, Sehra, which I’m wearing in Strawberry. My skin today is Bliss, from Adam ‘n Eve in skintone 2, with the Red Candy make up.
I kinda like how this photo worked out, and I might do the images more often like this. What do you think?

Many of you will be familiar with the work and the sim of Sue Stonebender and if you’re not, it’s high time do get to know this remarkable lady. Known for her pianos, the music sheets, her exquisite jewelry, the furniture, the beautiful builds that she has shared with the community, the synergy she has with her long time SL partner and builder extraordinaire Baron Grayson, but most of all, her altruism. Sue is one of the most giving people in SL that I know, and her initiative “The Giving Tree” has provided many people in 3rd world countries, trough Kiva, with micro loans for their businesses and intitiatives to make a better future for themselves and their families and their communities as a whole.
Last week Sue sent out a message to her group which can be resumed as follows: Health issues and economical circumstances are being increasingly difficult, and make being in SL and being active in SL harder and harder for Sue. That’s why she’s selling her sims and will consolidate her business with Baron’s on his sim The Nameless Isle. Both Sue and Baron will be focussing on RL artistic projects and will be further reducing their time in world.
While I’m happy for Sue that she has new things to focus on in RL, and she herself describes these developments as ending things and growing in different directions to start other projects and heading to a healthier place, I a sorry to see a long time content creator and pretty amazing person move away from SL. The giving Tree will move to The Nameles Isle as well, and Sue vowed to keep that going as long as she possibly can.
Last night she sent out another note to the group about the 30 hr famine. Read Sue’s message, please, and if you can, go to Intemptesta Nox and donate to the apple tree in front of the shop and make this happen.
“More than 26,000 children under the age of 5 die every day, most of them from preventable causes, including hunger.
The 30 hour famine is a quest to raise both awareness of the great and ongoing need to work toward ending poverty, as well as an opportunity to gather additional resources around families in need. Because of my illness I am not able to do the fast for 30 hours. My 14 year old daughter has offered to do it in my place, and I love her to pieces for it.
Tonight I am reaching out one last time through the Giving Tree space before it disappears from the Intemptesta Nox SIM, which is about to transfer to it’s new owner in the coming week. If you would like to join me in putting a little something in the cup for the 30 hour famine, I’ve turned the apple tree directly in front of my shop into a special new Giving Tree, allowing you to put in any amount you wish. Just touch the trunk and you’ll get a menu allowing you to make a donation.
No amount is ever too small. It all makes a difference! The money will be sent on to World Vision as my daughter starts her fasting in the morning and goes through until Saturday afternoon.
Thank you again for the great generosity that so many of you have continued to show through the Giving Tree program. It has been the greatest blessing I’ve enjoyed in my time in Second Life.

My long time friend Lucas just IMed me with the question “Chocolate or cookies?” Whilst normally such a question would cause me an existentialist crisis, today is very much a chocolate day, so that was answered easily enough. Next thing I knew he dropped a box of chocolates from Feather on me, which I find totaly adorable. Thanks Luc!! <3. This prim food does not attach to your mouth… but you wear the box of chocolates and on first touch the lit lifts and you can pick your choice of bon bons… when you touch the chocolate, it will appear in your hand and you’ll bring it to your mouth, then it will disappear again… and you can pick another one for your chocolate fix. “but Grazia….. there are only four… how will that ease your craving??, you’ll ask….. Aaaaah… my dear, that is the good part about this fine chocolate food that does not attack your hips nor will cause nasty break outs… once you empty the box, It will just replenish itself when you put the lit back on. And then you can start all over again… and again… and again… til your pixels are sated and the virtual endorphines will make you feel full of pixel bliss.
The et cetera in this post is dedicated to a little fundraiser that the people at Tableau have put together to help Toast get her long longed for sex change. Ok… rumours are her computer died… but that’s obviously way too normal a reason, considering the nature of the Tableau Troupe. So a sex change it is.. must been the longing to do in RL what in SL you can do in a minute… which I totally have every morning when stuck in traffic and really just want to TP to work… Oh right, I’m rambling… sorry… Anyway… At the central square you’ll find, among others, the pretty Bang Bang hair from Lamb! and the darling Blooming Roses blouses from Très Blah that I’m wearing here. Other contributors are Thimbles, Pudge and Pig. So don’t be cheap and go get some goodies and support one of SL’s most appreciated artists.

This vest caught my eye in a small shop, Rhapsodie, at Koenji ( I never exactly know where I am in that sim, I wander and discover new shops there all the time, or so it seems) and I knew it would be a cute match with some of the guy’s stuff that Popfuzz has out now. I’m wearing the vest with Popfuzz’ low rise, belted, brown jeans and the chestnut men’s tank top. The short stacks from Pretties by JB are a good match for this boho outfit. I have accessorised with the hues of rose Moxie bangles and Lucas Lameth’s Tropical necklace #1.
I’m, wearing Polly, by Truth, in mahogany, and PXL Creation’s Grace Fair which, by popular demand, will be in the shop later this week and the henna tattoo is from Zaara’s Indian bride outfit.

You may have seen this skin on me in the last couple of blogposts already, but I’m seriously infatuated with the pretty face of Mimi and Rosemary’s latest addiditon to their skin range. Seduction came, saw and conquered me right on the spot when I first put the wheat skin tone of the generous group gift on. Right now there are 10 make ups available for each of the 8 skintone, most of them are pretty soft and girly. Mimi and Rose have promised more make-ups though, and I am curious to see them.
I’m showing you the gift skin here, as I only managed just now to go to Le Zoo and pick up 2 more skins, the Natural and the Retro, which are yummy as well.

When Canimal sent me her Skellyflies, I was just working on an outift and I really adore this piece, so I decided to leave it on. I picked Kari’s/TW new school jeans and Calypso Giano’s “Love is a Gamble” top and since some lingerie is so cute that you don’t mind showing it a bit, I picked Popfuzz’ Olive Lace lingerie to add a little colour. And that lingerie set matches perfectly with Maitreya’s lime Slinky Stilettos. The green Moxie bangles are new at Pretties by JB, from Jori Watler.
Perfect with the Skellyflies is ETD’s new Chel hair, which I’m wearing in Espresso and The skin that I’m in today is Seduction, the latest brainchild from Mimi Coral and Rosemary Galbraith @ Cupcakes!.

OMG… this is the cutest hair thingy I have ever seen!!! Canimal made these and you can touch each butterfly and they wil change colour, texture and shape… and not only once, not just twice, but you can keep clicking, it seems the options never end.

Yesterday, while goofing in groupchat with some of the nicest people I know, Raven Callisto, from 7 Deadly Prims and House of Hucci (both currently under reconstuction) asked me about my birth month and on my “December” she sent me this pretty Pearl and Topaz necklace with matching earrings. It was the base of this simple but elegant outfit made with Icing’s Femme Noir and Surf Couture’s Teal Chuny leather belt. The shoes are my fave freebies ever, the black slinky stilettos from Maitreya.
I’m wearing Fleur’s Shoujo Azalea spring 6 and ETD’s new hair Torwen in Espresso.

With the new things that I’ve been doing quick posts about today, I’d almost forget I still have today’s look to post. So without further ado, It’s pretty much a SkinFlicks outfit, but the lace top and belt are from the Paige outfit, and the pants are from the Scarlett ensemble. I’m wearing the nougatine bracelet and necklace which were the prezzies from Muse in the Armoire showcase hunt, and Maitreya’s slinky white stilettos.
Since everything has already quite the golden look, I decided to just go along with that andnot looking for enforced contrast and picked Truth’s Gwenevere in Sand, and LeLutka’s beautiful Roma skin (light, make up 2a)

Finally my friend and master jeweler Lucas Lameth has decided it is worthy to be released: Gaea. Gaea, or Gaia in Greek, is the Mother Goddess, risen out of Kaos, and giving birth to all.
Lucas has been working on this necklace for a long time, meticulously creating the gem textures, crafting the sculpties and torturing the poor prims into their current state of perfection. Or, as Lucas states on his blog, ” I don’t want to release just anything. I want to give you my best.” Luc, I think you succeeded… again.
