Truth‘s new second hand jackets are friggin’awesome (pardon my French) I’m wearing smoke today, with the high waist shorts from Muism, and the bordeaux Hykova top from Whippet & Buck. The sole accesoire today is the lucky heart necklace from Artilleri.
I’m wearing Shiloh (coffee- flower girl), the latest addition to the Exodi skin ranges by the talented Ryker Beck. It’s so pretty. I really need to take some photos for a full review, but i’m feeling a little drained, so I’m postponing that to next week or so. My hair is Nico in coffee, from Maitreya.

From the very first moment that I laid eye upon the plaid textures from Whippet & Buck, I’ve been a total fan of them. The Bardot Tartan Tube dresses are among the favourites in my inventory, and now there are these cute, frilly tops, and I’m vain enough to think Twiggy & Kota named them after me :-P. So I’m wearing the Grazia Frilly top in Electric today, and teamed it up with some work of another of my favourite content creators, Milla Michinaga from Michami. The fuchsia Anoorea skirt and dito Ebba scarf are really cute with W&B’s top. Another item that canbe worn with, wel, almost everything, are the Aidan bangles from Exodi (colour change on touch, and I’ve intensified the colour of the purple and the blue bangle).
I’m wearing ETD‘s Felicity in Cinnamon and the red/freckled beta of PXL‘s Kim (in addition to blonde, brown and black, the natural skintone of Kim will also have a red brow version)

And because for the 3rd day in a row it’s absolutely gorgeous weather here, I decided to get over my EMS and show some stomach! I’m wearing the new Beach Bum shirt and bikini top from Skin Flicks, and Kari‘s low rise Rebel jeans. Over that, I’m wearing the sarong from Mischief‘s white clasped bikini, which is WAY old and not available in the shop anymore. It used be out as a freebie for some time on Onrez, but I have not been able to find it on Xstreet :-(. Oh well… if you still have it hidden in your inventory, dig it up, it’s a good accesoire (jacket layer, so perfect fit). I love the Armidi turquoise vidalia pumps for their lush texture, but I don’t wear them often. This was a good occasion to put them on. For accesoires, I’m wearing a gold disc necklace by Persona and the blue Melange bangles from Zaara.
My mesh is covered in Tuli‘s Hope skin today (review later this week, release June 5) and I’m wearing Truth‘s Felicity hair (toffee).

My name is Wilma Delgado and I’m a breast cancer survivor. This testimony was actually written last year during SL Relay for Life..but I felt like today was a good day to post it again. This is why I’m walking around the grid today looking like the offspring of Barney and Tinkerbell! In real life I just had my first haircut…only thing is..I sure don’t remember having this much gray mixed in with the blond! Oh well….I’m healthy and happy and I will deal with the gray in my own way. Thank God for good hairdressers and the magical potions they possess.
I’m a bit of a private person but I will tell you a bit about my reasoning for being so vocal about RFL.. I’m a cancer survivor! I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2004. I went thru chemo and radiation…thinking it was all over and done with. But, this wasn’t to be. I was diagnosed a second time in July of 2007. I finished my chemo in late March. I’m finishing up with my radiation now and I fully intend on being around to spoil my grandbabies SOMEDAY. My son is 22 and a senior in college. I will be here to see those grandkids. I know that. I feel it in my heart.
I think it is amazing at what we can do when we pull together and work towards the goal. SL RFL has been one of the most touching things I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been involved with RFL for many years and I was just as touched at the Survivors Lap in SL as I was my first survivors lap in so called real world. I sat in front of my computer on a beautiful summer day…I sat there all day…couldn’t tear myself away from the computer screen. Everyone came together for the same cause. This is a beautiful thing!
Cancer is a horrible disease but it doesn’t have to be a death sentence. Don’t look at me like I’m sick or a patient..just look at me. ..I’m a mom..I’m a daughter..a sister …a wife…a friend..I am you. Cancer can happen to anyone. Let’s just find a cure.

Oh, I forgot this part..grins. I walked my Survivors Lap with my 79 year old mother. She is a breast cancer survivor of 40 years! I walked in our honor and in memory of my older sister that lost her fight to ovarian cancer at the very young age of 46.

Lion Jonesford from Lionskins likes to do collabs, likes to be challenged by the work of designers to make skins, matching skins and designs, sometimes with outrageous make ups, or, like this time, with a plethora of dollfaces. These pretty faces are all unique, and also the skin tones may vary, but they are all flawlessly smooth and cute.
Lion has a history as an airbrush artist, and it shows. She puts all kinds of funny details in the skins, not just in the faces, but sometimes also in the body. I love the “cracked” skin (no. 5), second row, second from the left, but also the crying doll (no. 4), same row, in the middle. Mind you, I’m wearing the same eyebrow shape with all the skins, Lion redesigned the brows for the crying face. Some of these dolls are a bit dark, emo or goth, others just plain lovely, but they are all fun to play with. (body shots after the cut)

My grandmother used to say that you couldn’t mix blue and green. Now, my gramps was a wise woman, but on this statement , we’ve always passionately disagreed. I love green and blue, I’m just not fond of mint green and baby blue together. But then, I’m not a mint green fan, period. OK… rambling again, onto the outfit. I’m wearing Coco’s denim tailored jacket and, also from Coco, the white v-neck tee. The skirt is from LeLutka’s flora dress (green). My shoes are the Classics (Blue Sea) from Shiny Things. I’m wearing the cute umbrella that Annah Whitfield from Storin made to go with her umbrella poses (used for this photo).

Alchemy Immortalis is the brainchild of Alchemy and Immortalis Cyannis. Although apparently new to SL, their style and products are undeniably reminiscent of a great couple of content creators which recently decided to leave SL. And yet, It has a fresh touch, like starting over with a blank canvas. Aside from my recommendation to visit their, not yet finished, bed and breakfast sim Empress & Hierophant, I wanted to share the latest addition to their expanding medieval/renascimental jewelry line. The Ami amet deli pencet necklace is inspired by a 13th century French brooch, and is fully scripted. You can choose from a number of metals (Alchemy), and also customise the gems (Gemology). Also the script will let you resize the necklace, if required. What struck me in this piece is the intricate execution, the amazing textures of the cabochon gems and the baked shadow that is amazingly accurate.

and more colours we have… Although this time in the accesoires. The base of the outfit is really simple with a jeans from Kari and the alabaster Hykova tank from Whippet & Buck, but then I brought in happy colours with the necklace and bangles from Ume, Artilleri‘s pink snakeskin belt (tinted) and Skin Flicks new sunglasses. The hair, with scarf, is new at Aden (yes, Aden is back!) and I’m still wearing Tuli’s group gift Hope.

Voshie, a fellow blogger, owner of Nocturne and darling extraordinaire is in acute financial need with the risk of being evicted, and some of her friends and fellow plurkers are putting together an impromptu yardsale to help out a bit. I’m tossing in a couple of my total vintage DAZZLE’s (yep, you read that right, for Voshie I’m willing to part with some of the most wanted retired designs). I’ve just passed them to her, so she’ll be setting them up at Callie’s sim where the yardsale will be hosted for as long as needed (and PLEASE no ranting about Callie being spontaneous and generous to host this ad hoc event!). Hopefully a lot of people will go through their transferables and donate, and please check back often, because there will be new additions constantly.

Running between meetings today and it reflects in my outfit. I’m wearing Coco’s black jacket & blouse and Artilleri’s pink basic pencil skirt. Ume’s chain belt and Genesis’ Annah hoop earrings are the jewelry options for today. Last night it got late, so I’m glad I can hide my puffy eyes behind Skin Flicks pretty new sunglasses and on some days, even if I quit smoking in RL long ago, I just crave a pixel ciggy. FNKY! being my brand of choice.

I love the Fleur brand. CJ is an amazing skinner who has never been doubted for his authenticity and originality (which apparently, these days, is quite an achievement) and Roslin is a great make up artist with an endless flow of ideas for classy and outspoken looks. I’ve worn their skins for ages and they have inspired me to many a photo. So yeah, I’m a bit sad to hear that they have decide to retire them all…
Ona brighter note, there are good things to come. After the sale, Fleur will introduce a brand new skin line and I’ve had the pleasure of getting to try on some betas.
It may be some time yet before they are ready, but in the mean time, get your discounted Fleur fix while you can, because I don’t know how long it will last!

So yeah, this dress inspires me, the colourful combinations that Mara is available in leave plenty of room for playing and mixing with other items. I planned on going to a friend’s wedding like this last night, but then RL kicked in (Sorry Denise!). Anyway I thought I would feature it on the blog as a sample of how multiple looks can be achieved with the same dress. I’m wearing the lime Mara dress from KA designs here and looked for a strong contrast with Skin Flicks’purple Grace top and dito Taylor skirt. Not shown, but a good match are Maitreya’s lime slinky stilettos. I’ve accesorised with Genesis’Annah hoops, and Miriel’s LE Heart silver necklace (no longer available, it was a limited for Heart of Love charity). The lovely pink rose is from Artilleri.
I’m wearing Kim from PXL Creations (beta) again and another unreleased hair from Truth, which I’m sure will be out one of these days.
