La mademoiselle was so right, and this Dela Chanel Soire dress is absolutely both. It’s totally classy in it’s simplicity, and it looks fabulous! I’m wearing it with some antique pearls… I guess you might call these antique… they are from Shiny Things, and I have had them forever. The sunglasses are also from Dela, btw. I picked a classic make up, the new 5th & Avenue Audey medium in smokey 4 (tintable brows, so you will not have to look like Cicciolina with your blonde hair and dark eyebrows… that’s not classy, right?) and I’m wearing Clawtooth’s Timeless Glamour in starlet blonde. The manicure is from Adam ‘n Eve.

I decided to do a quick look today because a) I’m running late for work, and b) I came upon this field of sunflowers, and it’s sunflower time in RL and i’ve decided to go buy a bunch of them after work and put my house full of them. I simply LOVE sunflowers. So here we go… I felt green today, so I’m wearing the yellow green capris from Aoharu, with the alabaster Hykova buttoned tank top from Whippet & Buck and Decoy’s white/lime Izzy Cardigan. To go with that I’m wearing Armidi’s Sasche fl\ts.
Today’s skin is my fave PXL Creations’ of the moment: Kim tan, dark eyes & pale lips, and I’m wearing Exile’s Susan in sambuca

Coco has some newness in the shop, among which this quite, err, spectacular prom dress. It may require some serious fitting but it’s SO worth it. I’m wearing it with some of Uzuri’s gorgeous ethnic inspired jewelry (Porini bracelet & earrings) and that’s all. If you’re wearing too much accesoires with a dress like this, it will only distract from your assets, ladies!
I’m wearing a lovely updo from Atomic, called Emma with a texture change hair band and I’m wearing Launa Fauna’s latest Beta, Nova in tone 5, which is not available as of yet, but it’ll be worth the wait.

Ivy Graves of Atomic has been putting some new pre-release skins in her shop. They are the new skins, but with limited make ups.They are priced at 1000 L$ for a single and convenient packs of 2 make ups and an au naturel skin for 1700 L$. Then every skin comes in a freckled and a non freckled version, so that makes a total of 6 skins in a 1.7k pack. Pretty good deal if you ask me, considering the over al yumminess of these skins. They come in 6 deifferent skintones. This is cream, the 2nd lightest.

As you’ll probably know, I have been a huge Tete à Pied/Fleur/5th & Oxford fan from very early on in my SL and I still have their very first skins hidden in the depths of my inventory (thank you CC!). The faces are gorgeous, the make ups impeccable…no smudges or blurs at all and the bodies are smooth and soft. I thought it would be nice to put the 3 most recent skins next to eachother so you can see for yourself what a difference there is between the very popular Vivant skin and the soon to be released Audrey.

I wanted to try out the new skins at League, and then I eyed these totally cute jeans. So it’s a bit of a League day today, with the apricot Misty skin and the warm blue Garage jeans (colourchange hankie in the prim back pocket). I’m also wearing Thimbles I ❤ Plaid Wilbur shirt, and Tiny Bird’s new Lolita hair in dragees. The sprig is from BettiePage Voyager.

So the other day Hart IMs me, and told me he had been working on a new male skin and that it was almost there… So he TP’s me … and all I could look at were those abs… they are simply divine. Jude is at the base of this pixel hunk, but it’s been completely worked over, softening the abs for a more natural look, adding more definition on arms and legs because Lucas, by all means, is not a softie. Oh well, in the end, there is precious little Jude left in Lucas, and I just had to share.

The Marisol dress from Decoy is a lovely ankle long summer dress. It’s not a formal, it’s more of a comfy dress that you put on after a day on the beach, being lazy, sipping rosé wine in the sunset with your SO. I’m wearing it with the moss shrug of Digit Darkes’Serina dress.

I was watching Gok earlier, and I decided to adopt his motto (kinda) “Buy Less, Wear More” I know, it’s like a New Year’s resolution… it will stand til the next gorgeous release that I just have to have, but for now, I’m wearing Artilleri’s grey Johanna shorts (yes, new) with Dutch Touch’s Pink Plaind top (which i’ve had forever) and the silver bangle from Icon.
Truth made Grazia hair, and it’s totally me, so you’ll be seeing me a lot in it and today’s skin of choice is Tuli’s beautiful Hope (sunkissed/Kitten).

Less usually is more and that also goes for this outfit. Simple, well made basics, for a cool and laid back look which is still totally elegant. The white jeans are from Celestial Studios. I’ve had them for ages, but they are still on par with the current fashion standards. The simple white blouse is from Aoharu. it’s one of those items everyone should have in their inventory, RL & SL alike. I’ve opted for a green top here, the Dalini top from Decoy (I totally rediscovered that shop thanks to hair fair!). I actually bought the fat pack of those tops, they come in lovely colours. Go easy on accesories. I see so many avies who’d make exquisite x-mas trees… but really, one or 2 pieces wel chosen are more effective. I’ve picked the oversized enamel hoops from Paper Couture, as well as their Sprin multi stone ring.
I’m wearing Curio’s Post Ironic hair in ash, and Cupcakes’ Seduction Wheat-Summer.

Michami’s new release, the Anouk jumpsuit, is at the base of today’s look. I’m wearing the bottom part in pink, and then i went for the off shoulder baggy shirt from Aoharu, which actually has a colour change shoulder strap ( I tinted it a bit darker to match the pants). I’m also wearing Creamshop’s pink glambangle, which is bold enough to be a sole accesoire on an outfit.
My skin is the current work in progress from Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot. Roslin is curently making make ups… so if you have a suggestion… maybe you can drop her a notecard with a photo or a URL, since inspiration is always welcome. My hair, I believe, is a freebie from Uncleweb, called Reed

When it’s hot like this, I’m always in crisis for what to wear to work. I know it needs to be proper office/business attire, but inside i’m screaming t-shirt, shorts and flip flops!!!!!
For today’s look I’m somewhere in between, with Decoy’s Lila striped top and DP YumYum’s light pleated skirt. Since I never suffer from a heat stroke in SL, I’m wearing the over the shoulder sweater from Coco (white, tinted beige). Also from Coco is the brown belt, which has an amazing fit for my avie, I never have to adjust their belts. The tiger’s eye Mala beads necklace is from Lucas Lameth. The Carmen fedora (texture change) is from Illusions. Truth’s Linda hair in coffee is heavily modded to fit with the hat.
Last but not least I’m wearing Audrey, the skin Roslin and CJ are currently working on and which will be released in little less than 2 weeks!

BareRose has the cutest kimonos out so I just had to indulge myself and spend a whopping 140 L$ on the Okami kimono, shown in blue here :-D. I’m wearing it with Curio’s June 2 Zenia in bean (who says only Japanese chicks can wear kimonos?) The hair is Maitreya’s amazing Moon and the hair flower is Kanzasi Sakura, from Kurotsubaki. I have no idea whether it’s still available, since it’s quite old, but I still like it.
