Sepia, originally being the dark brown/grey pigment derived from the ink sac of the sepia cuttlefish, nowadays, thanks to photography stands for a wide range of demure browns, sometimes even with golden touches. It’s a pretty baroque palette to work with and I love it.
I started out with the worn choco Matusalem jacket from Lelutka and went from there with Whippet & Buck’s sepia Lilliana Cap Sleeve Blouse (sans cap sleeves) and the Leather Palazzo pants from Casa del Shai. I also knew I wanted to wear Surf Couture’s Paper boy ankle boots in brown, which I managed to get my greedy hands on at 111 and made the socks mustard for some contrast in all the brown, and then I figured that the socks from Maitreya’s new Moxie shoes in chocolate would be a neat accent as well, so I used those too.
The beautiful Put Em Up gloves in fawn are from Royal Blue and the spectacular Gemstone collar (tinted) is from So Many Styles.
I’m wearing Paige, the pre-release of Atomic’s new line Illusory and Truth’s Sonya in my fave shade macaroon
