From the earliest moment I remember, Mr. Spock has been part of the things I used to see on TV. I’ll admit I was afraid as a little girl of the always stern and emotionless looking Vulcan, but he also equealed the Star Trek feeling for me. Going where no man has gone before.  Mind you, I think I was 4 at the time.

Later Spock became for me a fount of wisdom and an inspiration and I’d like to share some of his most epic quotes with you:

“one can begin to reshape the landscape with a single flower”

“Change is the essential process of all existence.”

“Logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.”

and.. most adequate for today:

“Every life comes to an end when time demands it. Loss of life is to be mourned, but only if the life was wasted.”

Mr. Nimoy’s life was surely not wasted. He lived long and prospered, so to say. An inspiration to many. An Icon in SciFi cinematogaphy. He’ll be missed.
