GRWM: Reaching for the stars

Good morning! Here I am again to ramble some more about Pixel skin routine and makeup. It’s actually funny, because to achieve a blank skin canvas look, you actually have to add a couple of layers here and there since most skins look pretty perfect out of the box. So what I did here is that on top of my Fleur head by Lelutka, I’m wearing The Skinnery‘s Laura skin, without the brows, because I have added the super bushy Nova brows from Lelutka (that came with their Nova head) and added some freckles that came with Glam Affair‘s Anika skin as well as Izzie’s eyebags and a really natural lip from Izzie’s as well, which are included in her BoM Face Imperfections pack. Izzie’s prices are ridiculously affordable, so you really should not hold back when visiting her shop!
My straight out of bed hair is Magika‘s Fiona. I love a nice messy head of hair! And have you checked out her textures lately? They’re sublime!
My shirt, specially made for Maitreya‘s petite add on, is Liz, by Erratic.
So that was me this morning before coffee!

Then I went to take a shower and apply all my pixel toners, serums and moisturizers, primers and all that is needed to prepare for some serious pixel makeup and got dressed in Eliavah‘s Eden dress and Eden cardigan. Both for the time being also only available for Maitreya‘s petite add on (but more sizes have been promised).

For the after look, I combed my brows into shape (as in, I put on the Skinnery Laura skin WITH its own brows) and started applying some makeup. My base eyeshadow is the Hybrid Eyeshadow 3 from Alaskametro. She currently has a really lovely little hunt going on in her shop (through August 31) and this is one of the treasures. Look for the flowers, and either join her group to get your treasures for free when you find them, or pay a small price for a whole lot of beautiful stuff from skins, makeup, and clothing items. Check Alaska’s blog for more info.
On top of the Hybrid BoM eyeshadow, I am wearing Jack Spoon‘s Hoshi eyeshadow (Lelu HD). On my skin just a wee bit of highlighting from the Lelutka BoM layer pack, included with their heads and for my lips, I turned again to Jack Spoon. Creator Steffy Ghost is currently one of my favourite make up artists in SL and I love love love that she makes lippies that do not look like someone went overboard with the fillers! Today’s pick is a BoM layer, from her Summer collection. Just a nice soft balm.
Having brushed my hair, and braided it over my shoulder, Magika‘s latest hair Cassiopeia is not only pretty, but also fits the starry theme of this look!
