Ok, blogging one brand twice a day seems overdone… and usually I would agree.. but omg… look what Iki has just released??? They’re at the shop now. The cutest make ups you’ve ever seen and they come with different eyebrows, cleavage options, adorable freckles and sans adorable freckles. So worth to go try them, they retail at 1000L$ for a single, but the fatpack is only 2750L$!!!

After a few 50 L$ Friday teasers from the upcoming Little Miss series at 5th & Oxford, the other day Roslin dropped the skins on me which will come out together with the slips and the undies. 6 beautiful new make ups on their 3 skin tones. I’m showing the make ups on the medium skins here. The smudges eye liners, with the luscious mouth are so deliciously 50’s pin up.
I have no release date yet, but my guess is next weekend…..

6 (SIX) new hair at Truth this weekend, 5 strictly for the ladies, and the sixth, named Ashton, for the lads… but as usual, totally cute on a girl’s head as well. My personal faves are Yvette (upper left), which is a loose updo with a texture change hair band, and Peaches (bottom middle) adequately called “bed hair” by the lovely ms MIlla Michinaga.

the Moire pants from Meriken & Co, are so totally adorable. I wear them with about anything. In this case tough I’ve picked the Cole boat neck top in alabaster from Whippet & Buck, with the Dark Side t-shirt from T-Junctionand, to show that you can wear them easily with casuals as well, the Maitreya Gold Shanti shoes in cherry.
The Sarayi earrings are from Zara, and the Hathor Garden tatoo is from the Garden of Ku.

The red head version of Kim made me go back to hair fair to pick up Curio’s gorgeous Paper Tiger in the red shades. and I’ve coloured the colour change white head band to a sunny yellow to match Dela’s yellow Vivian blouse and Digit Darkes’ Dirkshire lilac pants. I’ve accesorized with Icon’s Heart necklace, which comes in 2 parts (spine & chest).

I didn’t know that Annette Voight, Decoy’s talented designer had ventured into hair… but this I found at her booth at Hair Fair. Nicole comes with the bangs and no bangs style included. Katie is just THE CUTENESSband Zoey is Annette’s Hair Fair special. The textures are really lovely. Way to go *sighs* yet another shop to follow more closely.

For the first time since Sachi started to make hair, she has redone all her textures, thrown out the old hair and making a whole new collection of prim wigs. I like it when this woman starts to do rigorous things. Last year she started to show massive improvements in her clothing textures, then earlier this year she felt she needed to raise the bar for her skins, and now she’s back on par with the hair too.

Aems asked me which colour of her hair I prefer… and it’s the blondes. Apparently that surprised her, but I do! So I’m showing you some of her Hair Fair releases in various shades of fair. Keeva is a cute 2 bun up do held back with a texture shade scrafs. I’m showing the blonde. Lilia, with hat and straight, fashionable cut bangs I’m wearing in Strawberry blonde and the boho-ish Pepper to the right is shown in Honey. All Philotic Energy hair comes with black and white tips… but personally, I’m not too fond of that, so I’m sticking to the plain textures.
So I’ve decided to make Dutch Touch’s Forest my official Hair Fair skin… and I’m also wearing the brown knit detail cardigan from Nylon Outfitters

This “Look of the Day” is actually pretty how my SL days are filled… The skin is unreleased… Last night Hart sent me the finished Kim skin (and all the make ups and brow options) in tan for a last check and when I came home from work earlier, I found a new beta, with the message.. “I felt I had to fiddle with the highlights on the legs some more… what do you think?” So apparently Kim has been demoted again to beta… and we’re still working on her. Then just now Roslin IMs me, asking my opinion on this new nautical set she’s been working on for Fleur ( so also unreleased for now) …. “what about the buttons… what do you think of the legs, colour options?”
In case you hadn’t noticed yet, I like working with my friends like this. A lot! and I have learned so much of it, with regard to looking at content in a technical way. Hopefully, both skin and outfit will be available soon.
What is available right now is the hair I’m wearing (Uncleweb: Lucio b in coffee) and Decoy’s Sunburst Mraz scarf.

Lazy casual day today… my basic New School jeans from Kari/Torridwear (/me makes mental note to finally start to stalk Torrid for more colours) and a lovely tank top that Hart Larsson made and which for now is not available, but will be soon…. I’m wearing them with my brown Freedom flops from Surf Couture, and Coco’s brown V-shaped belt. My Autumn necklace is from Exodi. I’m wearing Kim, the soon to be released new skin at PXL again, which by now really has become my default skin and Truth’s Aradia hair.
Yardsale: Want Dazzle?

Voshie, a fellow blogger, owner of Nocturne and darling extraordinaire is in acute financial need with the risk of being evicted, and some of her friends and fellow plurkers are putting together an impromptu yardsale to help out a bit. I’m tossing in a couple of my total vintage DAZZLE’s (yep, you read that right, for Voshie I’m willing to part with some of the most wanted retired designs). I’ve just passed them to her, so she’ll be setting them up at Callie’s sim where the yardsale will be hosted for as long as needed (and PLEASE no ranting about Callie being spontaneous and generous to host this ad hoc event!). Hopefully a lot of people will go through their transferables and donate, and please check back often, because there will be new additions constantly.

So yeah, this dress inspires me, the colourful combinations that Mara is available in leave plenty of room for playing and mixing with other items. I planned on going to a friend’s wedding like this last night, but then RL kicked in (Sorry Denise!). Anyway I thought I would feature it on the blog as a sample of how multiple looks can be achieved with the same dress. I’m wearing the lime Mara dress from KA designs here and looked for a strong contrast with Skin Flicks’purple Grace top and dito Taylor skirt. Not shown, but a good match are Maitreya’s lime slinky stilettos. I’ve accesorised with Genesis’Annah hoops, and Miriel’s LE Heart silver necklace (no longer available, it was a limited for Heart of Love charity). The lovely pink rose is from Artilleri.
I’m wearing Kim from PXL Creations (beta) again and another unreleased hair from Truth, which I’m sure will be out one of these days.

So, today’s look is a pretty colourful mess again….. I’ve taken KA Designs’ Mira dress and used the top as a blouse, with under it W&B’s Hykova Tanktop in Valentino. Then I picked Kari/TW’s new school jeans (yeah, again… Torrid… make me some colours… pretty, pretty please!) and added the low hipster belt in purple from League and the coloured white plain belt from Kari. I’m also wearing Artilleri’s yellow Nora glasses and Lucas Lameth’s Nalah necklace.
Today’s skin is Cupcakes’ Seduction Topaz in Cameo, and the hair is an upcoming release at Truth… so keep an eye on theblog, because it’s gorgeous!!

These sets are the latest at Insolence. Camilla has been away for a while, but she’s back, and these are so cute! Several pastels like peach, lavender, blue and green were chosen for these almost nostalgic undies. Welcome back Camilla!
