It’s like Pavlov. Milla releases a new item for Michami and I drool some. This girl is becoming good! Her latest is a series of separates, sheer tops and skinny pants (which do match with eachother, of course) I’ve picked the cream shirt to match it with the camo shorts from Shai Delacroix’ kaki safari outfit. I also gave in to buying Tesla‘s new Kensington boots (bronze) because whenever I saw them on the blogs that I follow, I couldn’t get myself to navigate away from that page. They really rock. The Mae Hong Son Neck Rings are from Chapeau Très Mignon.

I’m wearing Efe, from PXL Creations, which has been released yesterday, a couple of days sooner than anticipated and Jada’s curls from Fetish Boutique.

A slightly retro inspired elegant look today with Muism‘s Charlotte skirt (sue me, when I start looking into folders, chances are big that, on subsequent days, I feature some of the same designers, because I’m rediscovering what is in my inventory), Michami‘s white top fromher Bandeau dress and Digit Darkes’ Serina shrug. I’m wearing Elegance Hats’ Thalia, Yummy‘s Multiple Chain necklace, white gloves from Fleur (they were a sim opening freebie,no longer available) and Jaywalk‘s black Aileen shoes.

The hair I picked is Scarlett, from Ingenue, and my skin is PXL Creations’ Efe, which will hit the shop after this weekend.

Muism… ah.. yeah… ambiguous feelings. Expensive… hyped… I suppose it is. Yes, I agree. 300 L$ for just a sweater is pretty expensive,on the other hand I did happily spend L$ 1200 for their black tailored suit, which is one of the most versatile basics in my inventory and comes with a lot of different options. The jacket of said suit is at the base of today’s look. I’m wearing it with Michami‘s raspberry shift dress. One of her earlier designs, but really well made and so nice to combine with. The raspberry cuffs are from the white Muism shirt which is included in the tailored suit, and I dyed them to match. Yay for modifiables! I’m wearing Maitreya‘s black sculpted anklets and Verve pumps, and Icon’s gold necklace.

Today’s skin is thelatest addition to ❤ Cupcakes’  inventory, Lovespell in their darkest skin tone Eternity and princess make up and the hair is Maitreya‘s Sun.

A crisp look for the Monday, with ICING‘s Puma Jie skirt and the Cat top from Church of Luxe‘s Cat & Mouse Ballerina outfit, paired with the kiwi Mraz scarf from Decoy (tinted) and the lime patent pumps from Maitreya. The necklace was a limited edition for Heart of Love from Miriel.

Look of the Day, February 1, 2009

Happy February, everyone. Have you noticed how the days start to become longer already (and for the anti-pods, how they shorten)? Last week was the Amsterdam Fashion week, perfectly timed with the Paris fashion week. My Cod, how could they think they can ever compete with that? But anyway, EFA teamed up again with a RL content creator to bring you the second edition of the RL/SL fashion show from the Beurs van Berlage in our capital. Kudos for the SL creators, because every single one of them made creations that, to me, looked beter than their RL counter parts. Like I said earlier this week to a friend, I wonder what would happen if EFA for next year would find a real Dutch fashion designer like Mart Visser, Daryl van Wouw or maybe even Victor and Rolf to work with. Now that would be a whole other challenge for our creators.

Zaara participated and made this lovely Kera Top, I’m wearing it with my favourite black Stella trousers from Michami and the Blackberry Frenzy shoes from Maitreya. The bangles are from Icon. The hair is the latest release from Lamb! Skin today is Desire, from Adam ‘n Eve and the manicure is from Petit Ange.

Quick ‘n dirty, because RL is so good today….
I’m wearing Paper Couture’s Parakeet with Digit Darkes’ black Dictator shrug, and Michami’s black leggings from the Ida outfit. The sculpted socks are from Maitreya, and the yellow Dahlia pumps are from Armidi. The earrings are from Viva La Glam (currently closed).

I usually don’t give credit on the eyes I’m wearing, I guess that is because I almost exclusively use Miriel’s, but it’s nice to mention that every now and then. Efe, the dark skin by PXL Creations just won’t come off, and will be released later in February.

I have chosen a very classical ensemble for today’s look. but the brown jacket and blouse (1 set) from Coco, can as easily be worn with jeans to make it more casual, as I’m wearing it with SLink‘s lace overlay beige skirt. The jacket has a soft baby cord look to it and although I had to stretch the sculpted parts a bit, they fit really well. The shoes are Maitreya‘s chichi pumps. The only accesories that I’m wearing are a freebie hairpin from Miriel, who is really generous with her free jewelry and eyes, and totally affordable on all her products, and the Kahto tiger’s eye earrings from Lucas Lameth.

I’m wearing the no bangs bun from ETD (currently closed) in black, which I indeed like best without the separate bangs, and my skin is Efe, from PXL Creations, which will be released at the Rezzable Digital Alchemy event in February and for which Hart asked me to create the shape.

I found this Union Jack miniskirt today at Amerie’s Naughty, one of those shops that I haven’t been to in a long time, and it became the base of this outfit. No, I wouldn’t prefer the Dutch tricolor on my hips. Stripes make my bim look fat *grins*. I’m wearing it with Michami‘s glamtank in black, and the white 3 hole belt from Nylon Outfitters and the very torn stockings from Sheer. The Ving boots are the latest addition to the Shiny Things inventory and there are infinite colour options for the shoelaces. The gloves are from the Marilyn outfit from Emery and the cuff is from Insolence‘s Misty line. The chunky SW necklace is from Icon and the aviator glasses are from Fnky!

I’m wearing Gina from Exile in twilight, and the skin is a preview from a special project that Hart Larsson is working on over at PXL Creations. Keep your eyes out on the blog for more about this in the week or so to come.

In this look, I’m bringing together some of my favourite designers. The powdery colours of the camisole and top of Shai Delacroix’ Roche Cocktail outfit and the Stella pants from Michami are a lovely contrast with the dark skintone of Desire, which will be the next release at Adam ‘n Eve. Ever since Sachi passed me a beta demo, I’ve been smitten with the lovely skin texture and the pretty face of it and practically begged her for a non demo beta to make some photos with. I finished the outfit with the silver Tuli pumps from Shiny Things, which is another of my preferred suppliers, and kept accessories very simple with the Silent silver bamboo earings from Creamshop, and the simple silver ring from Lucas Lameth Fashion Jewelry, which I think isn’t even available anymore.

The hair is from Little Heaven (13 Rabi) and I’m still wearing the manicure on that came with the Bliss Nude skin that I have reviewed the other day.

Did I mention I really like the MayMaya creations curl up hair? I have been wearing it in an earlier post as well, and I just wanted to wear it again with this outfit. Let winter be over, I’m done with it. It’s been another half arsed winter over here with 2 weeks of cold and a lot of rain and wind, and to be honest, I crave some sun. So when I saw that Siddean Munro from SLink had new halter tops, looking totally hot for warm summer days, I wanted them, like pronto! I’m wearing the soft cream metal collar halter top here with the cream Chalize pants from LeLutka and Mischief‘s Autumn Chill Shrug (reminder: there is a massive 100L$ sale going on at Mischief, I got these in a fat pack for 100L$). The belt which is also from SLink and the brown Billow boots from Maitreya complete today’s laid back spring look.

I’m wearing the Bliss t1 Nude skin from Adam ‘n Eve that I was still wearing from the photos that I took for the review yesterday.

Nothing more elegant really, than a crisp shirt on a pencil skirt. Yeah, I’m a bit on a system skirt high, but I really think this garment is seriously underrated in SL. Ok, you do need to adjust your shape for wearing system skirts, at least if you don’t want to end up with a massive bum, but if you are willing to do this small concession to your ever so unique shape, there lays a whole world of elegance in front of you to grab. I choose the winter white pencil skirt from Ingenue for this outfit, and the blue Broadcloth shirt that Coco released today. The thin belt is from Kyoot Army and the spring stiletto’s are from Shiny Things. The lovely necklace is Miriel’s piece for Heart of Love and will be available for only a limited amount of time.

The hair is Leading Lady from Ingenue in platinum, and the skin is Fleur’s Shoujo DNB with a custom make up.

Just because the holidays are over, doesn’t mean a girl can’t wear a party dress anymore, right? So when I was over at Ibizzarre the other day, I bought me this cute silver sequined number. The gorgeous sheer voile scarf is part of the outfit so that was an easy pic. INstead of the prim belt that comes with the dress, and wich, to my surprise, is not textured at all. But the patent belt form Fleur on the jacket layer is a perfect alternative for the prim belt. the leggings are Xanadu, from Truth. The gloves are from Fleur again and the shoes are Maitreya’s Verve, in black.

The eyes I’m wearing here are cute. They are from Slab and they are tintable! But not like the dull tintable default eyes, these have a nice glimmer to it, and a good size pupil. The skin is Chai doubleshot Nude 02 and the hair is from MadDesigns, and I would like to ask you for opinions, because I bought it and I thought it was cute, but the longer I am wearing it, the less sure I am I like it. The prims lack “flow”, and I’m not sure I’m a fan of the big sculptie that makes the base. So, yeah, what do you think?

I’ve had a couple of Mudshake skirts sitting in my inventory for ages now, and it is about time that they are getting some attention, because they are adorable. So I put together this ultra feminine look with the short fuchsia trench coat from Aoharu, the gold glam tank from Michami (even though you dont see it, when a girl takes her coat off, she doesn’t want to flash her boobies) and the Mudshake country rose skirt. The cerise Dalia pump from Armidi and the simple drop necklace, which was a group gift from Muse some time ago, complete the outfit.

ETD’s Natasha in strawberry is such a lovely do and the skin it PXL Creations’ contribution to Heart of Love.

I didn’t feel like dressing up today. Instead I started an outfit with Pink Outfitter’s Stripe Tee and paired it with Armidi’s (Elephant Outfitters) Cherry Picking Knee High jeans and the cropped jeans jacket from Bare Rose’s Nora set. The Nautical Charm necklace is from Yummy and the shoes, you’ve probably seen them before, are Redgrave’s sneakers.

I’m still in the same PXL beta skin, I really should think of changing sometimes when I’m putting an outfit together, and the hair is ETD’s Meghan in Chocolate.

ICING is a dangerous shop. Not for the risk of hypothermia, but for the risk of bankruptcy. Miko Omegamu just always makes me spend money *shakes fist* . So I got home this time with her lovely basic Girl Friday, of which I’m wearing the top and the skirt. The jacket layer with the belt for he skirt I left off and instead I did put on the charcoal chrocheted shrug from Maria Gherardi. The belt I’m wearing, is from the black oversized shirt from Muism and the shoes are Verve, from Maitreya. I re-attached the ruffles of the top to my spine to be able to wear Icon’s latest release, the LF necklace, attached to my neck. Isn’t it a lovely piece? I really like their style. The glasses are from Le Petit Prince.

I’m wearing ETD’s Juliana in chocolate and the Grace freckled beta skin from PXL that just won’t come off of me lately.
