Congratulations, Luca!! (Little RL message… as a reminder that I need to call a special, old friend today)

These weeks are hectic, but it’s still fun to throw an outfit together. I must admit, I am very happy with Hunain being on a (blog) roll right now, no pun intended. His contributions challenge me to be creative and to look into new stuff. Like for today’s look, it probably would have taken me like uhm… forever, to discover the awesome (unisex) pants at Zoobong, or the amazing and oh so affordable stuff from HoC.

Anyway, let’s get down to business, shall we?

It’s a full figured Monday 😀 I’m wearing Maitreya’s boyfriend jeans and Nyte ‘n Day’s blue transpose blouse under Nyte ‘n Day’s white Transpose vest/ Earrings and Necklace Aemilia in indigo are from Whippet & Buck. The cobalt lucid belt is from fri.day and the blue 8 holes are from GOS.

I have modified my Julie shape to make her even a bit fuller an did some small tweaking to fit Laqroki’s Pearl (fair, make up 07) and I’ve picked Truth’s Riley in champagne to complete today’s look.

It’s Veschi day today! Alla Ruff has tons of newness out, all so cute, and in a plethora of colours and options. I’m wearing the top of the Jump Her! outfit in seafoam, with the Jump Her pants wide in smoke w’belt. The turquoise pumps are the oldies, but still goodies Dahlia pumps from Armidi. The simple gold bangles are an RFL easter hunt exclusive from alaMood.

Drumroll……..

A couple of years ago I had a run in with the creator of RAC, now known as Laqroki or LAQ, and while it was really unpleasant, I ended our conversation with words something like “if you ever make a skin which I do like, I would like to feature it on my blog”. For me that was a big “if” and an even bigger “ever” because it’s no secret how I think about LAQ’s skins. I just never even wanted to put energy in trying to like them, let alone use them. Put off as I was by price, marketing as well as skin quality. Besides there have always been more than enough people wearing the skins, and I’m simply not arrogant enough to think that me wearing them (or not) would have made any impact, positively or negatively, on the brand’s reputation.

Anyway, enough of the past. With the release of the blond Pearl, and a couple of weeks later with brunette Elena I have found not one, but 2 LAQ skins I am more than happy to wear. They are not my fave ever, for that they are a bit too glossy, and there are too much seams. But what a cute faces and a lovely belly, and especially when you compare quality to price, it’s just a very attractive skin, After all, 1990 L$ for a pack of 10 make ups, who is going to whine over a couple of seams?
