Milla Michinaga @ Michami has released this sexy new dress “Kat” in some beautiful color combinations. I’ve picked the black/silver one for today’s look. Kat comes with both a sculpted and a system skirt, but to be honest, I find that the sculpt skirt gives me a bigger butt than the system skirt, so I’m sticking with that.

I’m combining the dress with Aoharu’s black collarless jacket, Blowpop’s fishnet stockings, Tesla’s black Angelina boots and LeLutka’s black Jills Fighting Talk gloves.

Adding some carfully picked accesoires such as fri.day’s black cinch belt, Mandala’s Shaka necklace and GOS’new Cateye sunglasses and I’m good to go… well, anywhere really.

I’m wearing Belleza’s Elle (blond, pale 6) and Epoque’s Calm hair.

It’s a pajama day, I think… with these totally comfy checkered lounge pants from Zoobong. I was wearing Blowpop’s brown Yvette bra and Dutch Touch’s blue tank top, but I got a bit chilly, so I added League’s ecru cropped Grandad vest. I think it looks really comfy now. Surf Couture’s freedom flops in navy on my feet, Earthstones Kolo necklace as a sole accessory and I’m all ready to curl up my sofa and read a god book. Any suggestions?

I love League’s new skin Taylor and I’m wearing it in medium, naturel and Truth’s latest release Paula is SO me!! I’m wearing it in toffee *noms*

Today’s look is inspired by the beautiful music of the Gotan Project. Traditional tango, but with a modern beat to it. Very catchy, I can listen to it for hours.

I am wearing the black Romani dress from Azul, which is a perfect little number for any tanguera, and the floral attachment is from Donna Flora’s Diletta dress. The black lace border stockings are from Blowpop, and the long gloves, matching perfectly with the red from the flower are from 5th & Oxford. I’m also wearing Pixel Mode’s black Baby T shoes ( I should have fatpacked… over the weeks I have bought so many of them that the fat pack would have been cheaper anyway).

Isis is a skin which will be released sometime soon at Dutch Touch, doesn’t she have a sweet face, after the more edgy looks of Keira and Kiki? Michelle 2 in cranky brown from fri.day is today’s hair of choice and the corsage des fleurs rouges is from Tomoto.

Well, according to SL it’s still the 20th, so here is today’s look 🙂 . For the first time in a while I ended up at Sugarcube, and picked up this colorful lightly flared skirt. It’s such a fun and flirty number. Somewhat transparent, but you won’t end up in your glitchpants because of multi layering. Less covering is the top of Lelutka’s Ontible dress which I’m wearing, so Blowpop’s white Yvette bra becomes a real part of the outfit. Maitreya’s white ChiChi pumps are the ideal shoes to match with this look.

I find myself being increasingly careful with accesoires. One well chosen piece is often more powerful than wearing a full set. In this case I have chosen the cuff of alaMood’s platinum Celestial set. The red Paula glasses from Artilleri are my all time favorite glasses in SL. No fancy scripts, not primalicious, but I love them.

I’m wearing Belleza’s newest skin Elle in dark mocha (make up 12) and Truth’s Drew hair in espresso.

This is an outfit I’d totally wear during a meeting in RL. The jacket is from the Black Floral SuitGown from latest collection of Paper Couture, and theI’ll be a Ghost shirt is a 50 L$ Friday item from Whippet & Buck. The ultra feminine skirt is from Kunglers’ black Claudia dress.

My favourite stockings currently are the lace top stockings from Blowpop. Today I’m wearing the brown 40 derniers and the shoes are Maitreya’s Neyya toe cap white, which match the rest of the outfit just perfectly.

Très Blah has out the most adorable new skins, and I’ve picked the freckled Hiccup light Drama skin and just to give a nonchalant touch to it all, I’m wearing the casual Penelope in almond by Truth.

Hmmm… how to end the year in style? Well… this Claudia dress from the Kunglers sisters is a great base to work with. I’m wearing it here with the black lace Heirloom cardigan from Cake and the Keira ribbon from Dela.

The lace top stockings from Blowpop come in a variety of colours and 3 different levels of opacity (dernier). I’m wearing the black 40 dernier stockings with this outfit.

LeLutka has just released their Ultra collection and these Saffron pumps are part of that collection. It’s SL fashion at its finest, so in case you have been living under a rock and missed out everything about last week’s show… go pay LeLutka a visit and see some of the amazing outfits.

Oh I’m so hooked on the sweet face of L.Fauna‘s Lapine. I know, I’m getting boring, but Launa has really stunned me with her newest skins. I’m wearing the freckled Berry make up here, in pale 2. Ddid I ever mention that the eyebrows and lips are modifiable? With every skin, Launa delivers a notecard with a LOT of eyebrow options in it, which I’m sure will match your favourite hair colour and I can really recommend playing some with the lip make ups, because the effects can be quite lovely.

Last but not least, I’ve picked Cake‘s Dakota in Maroon. The messy, curly bob just balances the otherwise somewhat stern look of this last day of the year.

So Many Styles participates in the Designers United event with this beautiful Crow jacket. I’m wearing it with Madsy’s peplum skirt (sans system skirt), Blowpop’s fishnet stockings, Bax’s red Prestige boots and fri.day’s red wide waist belt. The clutch is from Icon and the hat comes with the lovely Tarry hair from Tukinowaguma. I’m wearing the soon to be released Duch Touch Jolie Ruby in the Sky make up.

More Skins

It’s been one of those weeks… so many new (to me) skins around. They all look very different on me, but they all have that “hot damn” effect.

First, there is Blowpop’s Elizabeth, 10 new make ups are available, in the 4 skintones. Elizabeth, for me, is a bit of an English Rose kind of girl. So rosy pale that she’s diaphanous. Every skin in this line comes with a subtle and a bolder make up. I must admit, I like the subtle make ups better on Elizabeth.
Then there is Très Blah‘s skin Girly Chic, shown here in tan, Cotton Candy. Being fully handdrawn, this skin may lack the realism some of you want in SL skin, but I totally dig this. It’s adding a lot of character to the SL avatar, and the mouth is just so kissable. I don’t give a damn that this skin has no private bits, as I heard some people complaining in the shop. If you go for that, yeah, then Très Blah is not your next favourite skin, but if you’re looking for something new in the drawn look skin tradition, Juliette Westerburg’s are so worth a go.
Last, there is Aimesi‘s Jezzy in Sun, face 5. She is such a beach girl. She’s all healthy looking and glowing. The body is not highly detailed, but it’s well blended, and seam free. I wish the nails on this skin were looking a bit better though… they are a bit blue-ish, you know… like when your hands get really cold.. but that doesn’t match the summer tan look of this skin. Other than that… really cute!

Today’s look has some folklorist influences, the poofy skirt from Ingenue’s One Boy outfit is reminiscent of the skirts from the Black Forest costumes and the Chinese florals cardigan from Nylon Outfitters… well… what’s in a name, right? I’m wearing it with J’s long boots and Coco’s v-neck tee shirt. The locket is from Yummy.

Today’s skin is Blowpop’s Carmen (tone A, Ay Candela1) and the hair is Exile’s Juliette in chimera with the wonderful new textures!

Annyka Bekkers did it again.. after venturing into drop dead sexy lingerie, Miss Blowpop herself now has made the most perfect fishnets on the grid. They come in tights and stockings, whole and ripped, plain and seamed…. seamed in the right place that is… on the back of the leg, not where the templates meet, because those have been tackled to the perfection.

The fishnets come in 12 pretty colours, but somehow,  I still like the blacks best…

I find myself grabbing the bluer things in my inventory lately… Dunno, I love the calming effect of blue. Anyway before I start some psychological exposĂ© about what draws me to certain colours as related to the state of mind I’m in or the influence of stress on my choice of colours… I just wanted to make an outfit with this cute open cardi from So Many Styles. I’m wearing it with Maitreya’s coal turtleneck, and Whippet & Buck’s black Stein shorts and Blowpop’s awesome fishnet tights. To finish the outfit, I’ve picked Fusemelon’s antique Forget me not knot pearls.

I’m wearing River, which is a work in progress from Iki Ikarus @ DutchTouch, and Fusemelon’s sassy City Life hair in pitch.

Oooooh… and for once I remember the pose I’ve used… because it’s the awesomest pose on the grid, I think! It’s The Dakota, from Long Awkward Pose.

I just heard on the news that today might be the last real summer day in a while… but I’m in a fall mood already anyway, so while I’ll enjoy the sun today, I can wait for the storms to kick in. I started today’s outfit with the brown Chidori habit cloak from Barerose and teamed it up with ICING’s Femme noir dress, super simple, super classy and one of my all time inventory faves. I dug up Chapeau très Mignon brown fox stole to accesorize, as well as the Paper Couture spring cuff (gems recoloured for a less “spring”look) and fri.day’s brown wide waist belt. The genius peepers from Miel are the finishing touch. Not on the pic, but still part of the outfit, are Blowpop’s 40 dernier brown stockings and Maitreya’s black verve pumps.

OK, guys… here’s your wake up call… do you really think we dress up in lacy lingerie for your pleasure? To be your bonbon? You’re wrong! We like to wear the cute sexy stuff, even if you won’t see it, because, you know… even when worn under the simplest of tees and our old trusted jeans and sneakers, that frilly, lacy thing will make us feel good!

Of course we like it to see you swallow when, while leaning in, making conversation over supper, you’ll see that promising trim of lace; that your jaw drops when we undress, or that your eyes sparkle at the idea of peeling the lingerie off later… but we are also perfectly girly happy wearing it while laying idly on our beds, reading magazines, or the latest best seller and listening to our favourite tunes. Mine lately being the good old “you’re so vain”… You probably think this post is about you… Well it’s not…. it’s about my favourite lingerie from Blowpop, Yvette. Currently Annyka Bekkers has 2 sets out, Jolene and Yvette and a 3rd on the way, but Yvette is my favourite. I love lace, and I also love panties that actually cover some of my bum. I’m just not much of a thong fan I suppose.

For a long time Camilla from Insolence was my undisputed queen of lingerie, but it looks like Annyka is up to give her serious competition. Thumbs up Annyka, people like you and Camilla raise the bar!!
