With all the newness that hits the grid on a daily base, one would almost forget about the incredibly skilled designers that have been working in SL for a lot of time, and giving their best to the community. Last night as I went to a little impromptu event over at Sue Stonebender’s Comfort & Joy log cabin, it struck me again that she is one of those people that quietly works, makes awesome things, gives a lot to the community and is never featured on the blogs. Never? Well…… not like never ever… but hardly ever…. so I decided to dig into my inventory and see what
Serendipity goodies I have in there that are nice to share with you.
Sue’s designs are mostly great classics… (emerald cut) diamonds, and other precious stones and pearls combined with excellent metal textures. But she also has a nice section of celtic and contemporary jewelry that won’t disappoint you.
Above is the Estate jewelry, emerald cut sapphires adorned with brilliant diamonds. The pendant is on a string of antique ivory pearls, that wonderfully drop down your back. The sapphire does have a touch for on/off sparkle. It is available with a lot of different gems.
This photo shows the Chatelaine set. The Chatelaine is one of the most classic pearl sets that you can imagine… a pearl choker with a teardrop pearl pendant… and teardrop pearl earrings.
The Evangeline is more of a show off. An elaborate pendant of birthstones (scripted for changing) encrusted in diamonds. The earrrings come in different versions. I remember picking these because I think they look awesome on a sleek evening gown, as sole jewelry, so without the necklace or anything. Wearing the full set I feel over accesorised. But hey… for the photo it is ok.
The skin is Rosemar’s latest addition to the collection, in espresso. Don’t know whether Rosemary has released them already, but if not.. they should be shortly. The hair is ETD’s Tyra in ebony.
