More Than Meets the Eye

I told you yesterday about this tattoo that doesn’t want to come off my face… well… it’s out now.  Duality retails for 249 L$ at blog buddy Hunain’s shop HUZ tats (yes, shameless friend promotion, sue me) @ Copley Square and comes in a full face and half face version. One thing to keep in mind, because it’s tintable, it will only work in SL2.1 for now, since the other versions do not support tintable tattoo layers yet. But 2.1 in my opinion is a serious improvement over 2.0 anyway, so go ahead and try it!

Awesome, someone remind me that when I shoot pics for a LOTD, to actually post it, or save the outfit so that I can easily list everything again. Oh well… guess you’ll have 2 LOTD’s from me today, because I have taken shots for another one already.

A day early, Truth has released 3 new hairs, all super feminine and sensual. Face it, it’s just what Truth does best. Long, wavy locks, sassy and sexy. And I happen to like that a lot. In RL I keep my hair fairly short these days, simply because I lack time, patience and skills to style it every day, but in SL, I’m such a sucker for long hair!

From left to right, Vera (with and w/o streak options) Marissa (no streaks) and Keely (with and w/o double streak options), My favorite this week? That’d have to be Marissa, because i love Truth’s curly textures!

Other need to knows: I’m wearing Atomic’s Faith Spicey 2 in Mocha, Dutch Touch’s antique rose tank and a not yet released face tattoo from HUZ Tats, Duality, that I love so very much and won’t come off my face today.

I really love the latest releases of Kavar @ Exile, they are fun, elegant, wild or just very sexy and I find myself wearing Exile more and more often. My favorite of this week is Caprice, worn to the left in brown sugar. In the middle is Layne, in natural and to the right Sunday in nutmeg. Also, I don’t remember changing the shape of my skull, but Exile hair seems to fit me better out of the box lately.

Sometime back I saw the very funny movie, “The Hangover”. The idea of waking up in the morning, not remembering anything of the night, not knowing how you got where you are, why you look like you do and well, wondering where the hell was everyone else; sounds pretty funny, long as it’s not you! This time, it was my avatar…at least the lipstick on the body is one relief..

Mr.Poet has some great messed up shirts, a lot of prims, but they sit well. I picked up the shirt and pants, both from Mr.Poet, the pants were surprisingly better than I expected, very nice texture and an excellent belt. The hair from Soap are probably my favourite for now, appropriately named, “Hangover”, messy hair along with a tie tied around the head, the tie is tintable so you can choose any color for it. The texturing on the hair could be better, but it is by no means a downer. The location is the very nicely made Truth Fashion sim, it has such nice textures and I really loved the alley with the dumpsters! Thank you Grazia for showing me the sim!

The fun about SL is that you can easily make your lingerie an outfit for the day and know that by no way you’re going to be the most radically dressed up bunch of pixels. So I’m wearing Nylon Pinkney’s awesome new Ooh Lala! lined yellow/pink corset and go do some shopping!

My name is Grazia, I am a midget…  at least, I feel like one whenever I try to wear formals in SL. This time, instead of adjusting prim by prim (because if I just shrink, the prims will end up in my butt, instead of hugging it),  I decided to hop on a stool for the pics. After all, the gown is gorgeous. I kinda feel like that girl again who sneaked into her parents’ bedroom to dress up in her mom’s gowns when they were not around.

But yeah, it is a pet peeve of mine. I know I am not tall in SL,  but please dear designers, also think of your non model-wannabe customers when you fit your stuff. Or like very few of you do, add attachments in various sizes. The fashionable midgets will love you for it!

Bianca is the newest addition to the vast skin range that Adam ‘n Eve has to offer. Yet another sample of the mad skin skills of ms. sachi Vixen. Probably, what I like best about her skins, is the level of individuality that you get when wearing her skins. I have seen Bianca on a number of  avatars now, but every time, she looks totally different. Many skins have very dominant shading, overriding one’s shape and basically making a clone out of everyone wearing it, but this skin basically works with your shape instead of forcing its look upon you.

Bianca comes in several skintones with some awesome make ups and with several SL 2.0 tattoo options for things such as freckles and hair bases.

This is one of  the skins I can continue to tell you how beautiful she is, but truth is, it will look so different on you, that you really need to go try a demo for yourself!
